Am I missing something here with Amanda and Howard? Is there a reason why she wants him out so bad, other then being a strong competitor? It just seems weird that she is pushing so hard to get him out.

There's been speculation that Amanda knows she is getting a good edit from production, some going so far as to suggest they encouraged her to have the first racism talk with Aaryn. If that's the case, or she just believes America would like her, it could make sense to go after players who could stand in her way of being the next MVP once Elissa stops getting it. Howard's a calm, cool and collected likable Christian who's been a voice of reason dealing with straight up racists in the house. Would make sense that not only does America like him but sympathizes with him. Odds are they would vote for him over Aaryn, Ginamarie or Kaitlin.
If you're not much for conspiracy theories though, he's a big strong likable competitor who Amanda knows was scheming hard from the beginning. He's simply a bigger threat to win it all over the racists snobs.

Amanda at least the way it looks edited comes off as overly heavy handed for a person that hasn't won anything. She really tries too hard to get HOH to do her bidding. Was there a hidden message in Judd leaving her key last? It sure looked like she was badgering the poor guy up until the nominations.

I think she just views him as a threat
their preferred final 6 is all weak physical threats, and even with Nick/David/Jeremy gone if there's a physical challenge Howard realistically should win it...
it's smart she's going for him, it seems a bit too hard at this point though and I think it might cost her

Wasn't hidden at all. He sent a message - didn't do as she asked and then her key was last... she even said Thanks Judd for the Heart attack... so the message was recieved.
In unrelated news if you are watching the live feeds Amanda decided one day to use bandaids to cover nipples and then walked around the house saying they are not boobs if there are no nipples so she is now by far my most favorite player in BB history

Howard totally took a page out of A Bug's Life to try and form that alliance.

I think solitary confinement was enough. An alarm every 9 minutes is a bit much, no?

Maybe once an hour or even half hour but 9 minutes? That would have drove me nuts to the point I may have brokend the damn thing.
Also it looked like Elissa got posessed by her sister there being a debbie downer for McCrae's birthday celebration.

Elissa can't play in POV. I think she's screwed. I don't think Aaryn holds up her end.

I wouldn't either. She needs to get Elissa out. Elissa would go after Aaryn the first chance she gets.

I do think though that Aaryn will put up Spencer and Howard. Helen controls Aaryn's nominations so those 2 will be the target.

You think Aaryn will honor that deal? After Mini-Rachel tried to throw her under the bus... I doubt it... I don't know, didn't have a chance to watch feeds, but I doubt it.

Can't stand Andy - chiefly because he doesn't seem to do much of anything in the house. I guess at this point I am cheering for Judd because he's probably the most entertaining person left.

It seems like everyone I start to somewhat like goes and does something that makes me think they are a terrible person.
What was with Elissa totally trashing Amanda? That was completely uncalled for, and I was very surprised when Amanda ran away to cry in the corner - I thought she would stand up herself like she always seems to. I guess her body image may be a sensitive issue for her.
Amanda and McCrae are getting on my nerves
Howard has made some really dumb game moves
Andy is definitely useless
Aaryn...I have no words
Gina Marie is a loudmouth that needs to STFU
Candice seems sweet but has no hope of winning this game
Helen is a bit of know-it-all and thinks she's the ultimate schemer
Spencer is useless
Judd is okay, he seems like he's short a few marbles though

Kind of disappointed that the house let the racist girl stay. I find it pretty sad that Helen, Spencer, and Candice let Aaryn stay after the things she has said in the house. What a great plan to vote out the girl that was nice to all of you and keep the racist, mean girl because you lack so much confidence in your own game that you feel you should get rid of maybe a gamer that at least has some morals. It was kind of poetic justice that Aaryn won HOH because when you do stupid things bad things will happen. If anything they have now left open the possibility for Aaryn going deeper than them and that's just stupid.

I wonder if anyone's thinking about trying to take Aaryn to the final two. Hard to imagine you wouldn't win if you could do that.

You can argue she would deserve to win if she managed to pull that off. Big Brother isn't normally a showcase for high intellect but this group is below par for even this show. The players are all pretty weak for the most part.
