Read the first page but can't read all posts. Did anyone ask about new jerseys at all? What did Kenny have to say about them? Oh God, oh God gimme some class jerseys here.

EDIT: I'm told there's another one tonight. Can someone please ask about the jersey situation please?????????? I'm dying here. Not gonna be able to sleep.

EDIT 2: I'm serious though. Not joking. Please take my request seriously. I spend like 2 hours every day in the jersey concepts thread. Love the icethetics. Love 'em.

I'm guessing we won't see or hear about new jerseys until the new arena is figured out. New jerseys would be a good way to get more money for the new arena but I think but I think they should wait. New rink, new uniforms, a (hopefully completed) rebuilt team with new franchise players all at the same time would be awesome.

He is what he is at this point.
Management soured on Stajan last year, and Stajan came up huge this year. Here's hoping (but not holding my breath).

Not sure about the criticism for Cammalleri? I thought he was great down the stretch.

If Feaster's going to target some UFAs, I'd like him to go after these guys to fill needs:

Nathan Horton - He's 28, he's got a good compete level and skill. Plus, he adds to our shallow RW depth.

Douglas Murray - Big. Tough. Won't allow players running the goalie. Very solid #5-6 defender. Right up Feaster's alley according to what he said.

David Clarkson - High compete level, hard to play against (pest), good skill level for a grinder. Would fit well alongside Glencross IMO.

Mark Fistric - 26 years old, 6'3" 234 lbs. Would make a decent #5-6 d-man alongside Doug Murray or Sarich or maybe even Breen or Cundari.

This is my hopeful list anyways. Wouldn't mind picking up any of these guys, especially Clarkson and Murray.

As for Irving leaving, meh. He just didn't have what it takes. Glad they're giving Nemisz another shot. I don't think he's an NHLer, but if he can improve upon an injury riddled season then he might be an okay call-up option from time to time.

Glad Feaster said he's going to push hard to get into the top-3. My only concern is this: Say we get the #3 pick. Jones and MacKinnon are gone. Does he pick Barkov to fill the need at centre or does he add to our already very good LW depth by adding yet another high-end prospect to go along with Sven and Gaudreau? Tough call.

The Hanowski story really bothers me. If I'm a veteran on this team I do anything in my power to make the young guys feel at home. That's just completely irresponsible by Gio, Cammalleri, and Glencross.

I definitely didn't hear him say anything like that.

Disagree with both those statements.

The Jokinen trade occured in a year where we could have won the cup; after 2004 and 2006, it represented the strongest team over the past 15 years. We took chicago to 6 games dispite injuries to:

Sarich
Phaneuf
Warrener
Langkow
Giordano
Regehr
Conroy
Bourque

I amazed that people still don't see that Mike Keenan did a pretty good job that year, especially considering Kipper wasn't playing great. And Sutter built an amazing team. I honestly think that if the lineup was healthier, he could have taken the team to the finals.
