Boy this feels reminiscent of the Flames series against the Ducks in 06 coming off their cup run. The Kings still play as hard but seem burdened and unable to raise themselves to the level of their big run the season before.

Kings in trouble, but you're not really out of it until you lose at home. Although it retrospect they should have tanked their last game against the Sharks, so they could have finished in 6th, and played the Canucks instead of St. Louis.

CHI vs STL will make for an excelent series as well, if it happens... hopefully the LAKs come back though... gotta get an earlier pick

Quick had a Good game, but the winning goal was not a good one, again. Playoffs are all about timing of mistakes and Quick needs to find a way to out stop Elliot.
Good game again though!

Geez. I want the Blues to win, yet I want to cheer for them at the same time. I have a feeling that if the Blues manage to hole on and win this series, they're going to go deep. This has been a excellent series to watch for sure.

You really should try and understand how these things work before you spout of your hyped up rhetoric

Well I don't know what you are talking about either cause you could only get one of the 2 games in HD and the other in SD and that was from Telus Optik .
I think somebody needs to read properly and know what is going on before they point fingers at others for not understanding.

His timing wasn't quick enough to react to the shot, he needs some Nestle in his water bottle. I agree about the mistakes and that this series is really fun to watch.

Perhaps I should have typed slower so you could understand. Firstly, I said that I was watching the time shift, CBC Ottawa signal on Shaw. So yes, I believe I've joined the digital revolution.
Secondly, I wasn't talking about national rights, just regional ones. But I can understand how me stating "the so-called national broadcaster lacks the ability to televise two simultaneous games to the same region" could be clearly misunderstood as talking about the national rights.
TSN can show games in HD on TSN and TSN2. Sportsnet can show games in HD on Sportsnet West, One or Flames/Oilers (and in fact, showed Flames and Oiler games simultaneously a few times the past season). CBC only beams 1 signal, HD or otherwise, into any region, and only has 1 channel (albeit it with regional differences that allow viewers to watch games from different regions using time shift) televising hockey. My point, which clearly you missed, is that if CBC can't televise on two channels, then why are they allowed to braodcast simultaneous playoff games.

Frigging guerrilla warfare out there tonight. I can't imagine the Flames doing well in a series like this.

Bouwmeester has played well this series. He's not the physical player that most of his teammates are but he's steady and reliable and keeps everything calm. A good fit for the Blues so far.

Ouch, that looks rough. Jackman is one tough cookie though, he looks like he'll be ready to go for his next shift

What do you think of that goal? I'm surprised it wasn't blown down when Elliot had it briefly.

Have you ever seen a game with fewer scoring chances? They are beating the hell out of each other, but the goalies must be falling asleep.
