I think the Swiss coach just went with the hot hand today and that happened to be Darth Gerber. Marc Crawford on the TSN telecast did comment that he thought Berra has played well during this tourney for Switzerland.

Slovakia just came back from a 3-0 hole against the Finns, now tied 3-3 with 16:23 left in the third.

Antti Raanta, whoever that is!
As an aside, the IIHF website sucks!
And Finland ended up winning 4-3

Likely done for the tournament imo. If they win, why change? If they lose, they're out

Eric Staal I hope he is ok after that knee on knee.
Go Figure it was Alexander Edler from the Canucks

That really wasn't a knee... Staal is the one who had his leg extended.

Edler with a dirty knee on Eric Staal. Staal looks like he's hurt pretty bad.

The Staals should probably stop playing hockey when they shouldn't have to. They get injured too much.

Staal had the puck, Edler made zero effort to avoid contact. It's Edlers fault.

Other countries can say what they want about Canada and Canadian players, but at least we'd never boo and whistle at an obviously injured player.

I´d think they were booing at the call, not the player. It didn´t seem to be intentional kneeing.

That knee injury reminded me so much of a few football ones in recent years...id say he is looking at 6-8 months just from his reaction as that has to be an acl...hope i am dead wrong though.
