-On plethora of goaltending prospects: Berra/Ramo are older/more experienced. Gillies: feel really good about his progress. "You can never have too much help in net".

-Flames now have 48 contracts. Contract swap with Bouw and Cundari.

-Feaster on lack of success: "It's on me". "Maybe I wasn't as intellectually honest as I could have been".
Interesting interview, but a lot of the same talk.

If he honestly thought this team was a playoff team, he is the dumbest #### alive and should have nothing to do with running a hockey team. Ya Jay it's definitely on you.

Not to derail the game thread, but Feaster really believed they were a better team the last two years. He just isn't a great evaluator of talent or deficiencies. Thankfully we have Weisbrod to help advise him. He's not an ideal G.M. for sure, but you can't fault him for what he's done since he's come here. You can argue about timing for sure, and I would even support that argument, but he's done his best to put a winning team out there and it just hasn't worked out for a multitude of reasons. I'm not sure he's the guy going forward, but you can't fault his effort.

Pulled after letting in an ultra-soft goal on the 3rd one.

Feaster is a lawyer so he's well versed in skirting around and saying nothing.

Well that will up his trade value Whats with him lately. My opinion is he is distracted by everything going on team wise and obviously with the new family addition.

I'm really upset that the veterans have mentally "checked out" on this team. Whether you're a good team or not, you have to give it your all. When you see a shift like that from the 4th line and then you see how guys like Tanguay and Cammy don't give a crap and don't battle whatsoever, you can't help but get angry.
I say trade any guy that isn't willing to work hard in this bad situation. You don't want that character on your team.

Begin, Sarich, Butler. Would love to see these guys go. Actually pretty much everyone except Backlund, Kipper and Baertchi.

If you have watched the team over the last few seasons, you cannot be surprised.

Why is it every time I see Giordano, he's just standing in no man's land?
What the heck happened to this guy?

Not surprised, but it has become even more obvious this year now that this team is in the basement. Feaster has got to take notice of these things.

Kipper has gone all weird like he did for Finland in that Olympic games. Just can't play all of a sudden. I don't see a reason to start him again this season.
