The best foot note I can add after tonight is the fact we don't have to watch another Flames/Wild game until mid April.

3 times in 2 weeks was way too much.

Flames are a non playoff team at the moment, that doesn't mean they are on a dark road for years to come that's really over the top. Reasons people are luke warm to the current run is because they have had chances to steer ahead of the pack and haven't, they have lost winnable games. Kipper is out, but even he played not so great when he was in net. Last the tough schedule for the Flames is just around the corner, March and April will show what they are made of. They should be winning when the schedule is easier.

Why not just stretch it out to 18 points in 18 games?

5/6 is a good "Trend"...they are picking up points which they need to do.

This game was lost by our completely inept PP on the night. The Flames had ample opportunity on the man advantage to put the Wild away and did jack squat. The Giordano penalty was ridiculous on his part... You have got to be smarter than that, however if we score one or two more on our 5 minute man advantage or our four minute double minor, it's a non issue. Another valuable road point, but at the end of the day, and with all the 3 point games this season, that's not going to cut it.

these games are so boring 2-1 usually is what it ends up being most of the time and then the odd 3-2

If calgary is one of the worst teams then they will get the top picks...an how in the hell are the Oilers gonna win the cup. Small team terrible 5 on 5, they won't be a team that can grind out four rounds even if they do ever make the playoffs.

this has to be the most misused quote around.

stop using it because it doesn't apply.
aall you have to do is change 1 factor and you are not doing the same thing over and over again. this quote would only apply if everything happened exactly the same in every game, and I do mean EVERYTHING, no one could age, no one could be traded or leave as a free agent, no one could learn anything, all penalties and whistles and hell left hand turns would have to be at the exact moment all the time for it to be the same.

So please just stop using a great quote in this embarrassing fashion.

Better team won.

Glencross and cammaleri frigin suck. Not sure why they get so much pp time, they appear to have no idea what to do with the puck.

Man the flames suck.

The fact is mediocre teams get into 7th or 8th place and lose in the first round. We can't even do that anymore.

Disagree. You have to be decent to even make the playoffs now. Those 7-8 teams have won it all in recent years .

From my perspective this team was very lucky to walk away with a point.

We lost battles all night. Couldn't get the puck out of the zone when we needed to. Effort by the fwd group was pretty poor. Defensive coverage was poor at times, which might be connected to the lack of being able to clear the GD zone.

We were outworked plain and simple. This team isn't talented enough to get outworked.

Joey Mac you saved us a point, thank you sir.

Is it me or has this team lost practically every game which would take them over .500 or into 8th spot?

they have lost every game that could have put them over .500 and into a good position so all the games that matter they are losing
