Blackouts have nothing to do with Sportsnet. They are imposed by the NHL (read: your favourite team.)

I think that there are some here who have nothing better to do than point out everyone else's shortcomings, and that annoys the hell out of me.

Okay, so just to sum up your post.
- Rob Kerr annoys lots of fans
- Rob Kerr doesn't annoy you

Rob Kerr is so bad its entertaining, which is probably a good thing considering the product on the ice.

I like Rob Kerr - he really cares and works hard. He just seems more suited as a game show host, on YTV.

Haha so true. He would have been good at Kids Street back in the day.

Kerr's reaction was to goal calls what Yakupov's LA celebration was to goal celebrations.

Ugh, no he isn't. Chris Cuthbert and Gord Miller are two that are better by far. I would put Hughson #3 at best. I know, I know, it's personal opinion.

He is definitely an interesting chap. Has had some memorable calls.
Want to hear his Glencross call. Missed it in my excitement with the Flames taking the lead tonight.
I don't mind him so much. Think he adds color to the game. Though miss Loubardias.

Sportsnet Watching Flames Fan: A 10 Year Study
"Boy, that Roger Millions is horrible. What a homer. How about you let the ref's make the call Rog. He's no Ed Whalen, that's for sure. Couldn't they find someone better?"
Fast forward
"Holy geez, Peter Loubardias is terrible! What is with that voice?! Can't he say anything besides 'some kinda...' and 'doink'? God, I miss Rog."
Fast forward
"What the hell is wrong with Rob Kerr? He's a nerd that's sounds like he's going through puberty. First he's putting me to sleep and next he's pissing his pants. Seriously, calm down you spaz! God, I wish we still had Loubo!"
Some other options besides the constant bitching about the play by play guys are:

I'll never understand how commentary can become such a hot-button issue for some. I preferred Loubo over Kerr, but Kerr still provides some hilariously entertaining moments.
Between the ferocious gobbling of Swedish snowballs and absolutely losing his mind on occasions like the winning goal tonight, I'm beginning to enjoy bearing witness to his antics.

The only thing I will remember was Rob Kerr's call on Huselius' stick handling abilities.
Apparently, according to him, Huselius was stick handling a phone book.
