Not as awesome as the Montreal pre-game speech, but that is hard to top for Huff.

FFS, why does every person who sings an anthem these days have to make it sound bloody awful?

That was the most corny Anthem I have ever heard.
With that Elementary school drum beat in the background.

Burton Cummings singing with Grandma's organ was embarrassing.

Wtf is wrong with this country, that that's the best we could come up with? For the love of God, I'm getting tired of embarrassing "Canadian" productions.

The Burton Cummings Oh! Canada rendition was terrible. Expected a lot better out of BC.

I agree. I went on the whiskey tasting and tour at Hiram Walkers a couple of weeks ago. I feel bad I've lived in this area most of my life and I really didn't know a lot of the history of Canadian Club. What a cool story! I'm not much for whiskey either but their 10 Year Reserve and the new Dock 57 are both excellent. I even bought a bottle, first bottle of whiskey I have bought that wasn't a gift.
I even sat in the chair that Al Capone used to sit in when he would go there. They had a special meeting room in the basement for when he would show up.

That version Of the anthem would only have worked if he played it on one of those piano guitars (aka "key-tar" or a "pian-tar").
