I agree completely. Some types of nature are more pleasant in park-form than others.

A man-make lake... that's just silly... but an infinity edge pool on top of a 55 story hotel... well now we're talking!

LOL every kid who camped at Mount Kidd knows nobody cared about the amphitheatre and just went there for the convenience store (candy, hockey cards, etc.), awesome arcade, and hot tubs! Camping is so tough!

I don't understand, is this directed at me or Silver? I didn't offer any opinion on the amphitheater.

Can we trade it for some land for the SW portion of Stony Trail?

I've decided the only improvement I want to see is more garbage bins for dog poo and more regular collection. Gets kind of gross sometimes!

Hey all this moisture in the NW is great news for Nose Hill. Maybe it'll go an extra week before it burns down.

Perhaps we can turn it into some sort of death tournament, hunger games thing? With world wide gambling and advertising. We can pay off the debt in no time.

Slivers right. It's an eye soar.

What a great bump, lol. I'm surprised I didn't post in this thread orginally.

I'm of the opinion that it's fine just the way it is. A large natural park in the middle of the city where you can see beyond the distance is good to have. Only desired improvement is perhaps a paved pathway added from the Winter Club to the bridge that goes over John Laurie after Charleswood Dr. And maybe better pedestrian access to the park from Charleswood Dr also.

Of note: they did upgrade the Nose Hill Park View Point road and parking lot quite nicely this past year, although it was a bit of a mud pit when I was there.
