Bishop Carroll, Bishop Grandin AND St. Anne's
The Bishop Carroll should be enough to determine why I had to go to Grandin, and finally St. Anne's. Got to go to school with Johnny Boychuck though. If that's even cool?

My favorite memory was following my English teacher to the T&C during my spares, where he would drink at the strip club and I would play at the arcade across the street (I think it is a carpet store now?)

Haha, good ol' St. Anne's. Nothing like the smell of raw chicken in the air. I actually went there to upgrade after I finished Sait

Did you play on any of the sports teams? I was the trainer for some of the girls teams as well as playing football.

St. Mary's! Good school, but a sketchy area. Just last week, the pizza place on the corner got busted for illegal drug and weapons possession.

Ahhhh, good ol Pearson. Oh, and the bomb threat! Pretty sure we had one of those. Get everyone into the center of the school and hope it doesn't go up!

Heard about that. Back in the day the pizza place we used to frequent was on 17th ave right beside Bobs the Fish pub. It was something like $2.50 for a massive slice and can of pop.

Different parts of the school had different character. It was funny how, depending on your classes and track, you could inhabit certain parts and be excluded from others. My only time in three years visiting the third floor was for Marlette's English class. Otherwise I was a basement and first floor guy.
|
Funny, I was the opposite, only had one class in the basement the entire 3 years I was there and that was Physics with Mr. Nixon... still have nightmares from that class. Spent the rest of the time hating the fact that to stay on the second floor I had to go up to the third and then back down again because of the way the library was...

I found that was only those who wanted to come to Western for whatever reason but it wasn't their designated high school. Those who were in Western by default were just as lazy as kids you'd find at other schools.

Bishop O'Byrne, 2006.
Having a rink attached to the school made lunch the best period ever.

Interesting. Consider me curious as to who you are.
