Good pick. He's going to have a great season. One more year of development before he has out-points Iggy.

I'm thinking that if he gets around 80 points, he could win me the draft.

He will get 60 if he plays 82 games. Next year, 80.

I had Hall pencilled in for around 65 points on my draft list if he played 82 games.

Good to see someone recognises my sarcasm and humour. I was hoping to get a rise out of my competitors
You're right, 60 points would make me happy.

First week is in the books, the lawyers are sitting in the top two spots with myself and the accountant tied for 3rd. I love hockey pools, they make the season so much more interesting.

Crosby is coming back though, so the financial planner will be there shortly!

Its because you took Horcoff and Hemsky and the league doesn't want them to play anymore than absolutely necessary.

Ales Hemsky injured his right shoulder in the first period on Thursday and did not return.
This could be bad news for the injury-prone winger as he had surgery to repair a torn labrum on the same shoulder last season. He will be examined on Friday but told the Oilers training staff that he did not hurt it on any play but it did not feel right. Consider him day-to-day for now. Stay tuned. Oct. 14 - 10:05 am et
Source: Edmonton Journal
Josh Cooper reports from today's morning skate that Martin Erat has been placed on Injured Reserve by the Nashville Predators (adjust those Fantasy Hockey rosters, people!). IR means that a player has to be out for at least seven days, and it can be retroactive to the date of the injury (likely the opener last Friday in Columbus), so this could mean as little as one or two more games lost for the Preds' top offensive forward.
All that has been said is that it's not related to his previous back injury from last season.
You're Welcome. I pick them. They get hurt. Should have picked 11 Canucks.

Kessel can't play home games forever against bad teams.

Well, he doesn't have to do it forever! 5 1/2 more months would be fine.
