Par for the course when the Stamps play the Riders. The Stamps need to be on their game on offence to beat the Riders as the officials and Riders offence have their way every game.

It just further legitimizes our dominance. That interference call was incredible. Close game mandate.

No way, the Stamps were in full control. Even if the Riders get a touchdown on that play the Stamps still had a healthy lead and the offense was moving the ball just fine. The game is played differently when the lead is big or if the lead had been less. The Stamps let up and yes the coaching staff needs to address that more. But Stamps were never ever going to lose this game. Led from wire to wire.

That was the best offensive first half output by the Stampeders this season. Henry Burris and company was on fire. he's got a lot of weapons and the only receiver who didn't get a catch was Anthony Parker but there was a reason for it. He didn't play in the offense much.. i don't think he even play on the offense tonight. I was very impressed with Offensive Linemen 2 games in a row. Tony Washington playing on Burris' blind side left tackle solidifies the OLine. In the first half, Burris didn't see a lot of pressures due to his OLine's work. Riders didn't touch Burris at all until Stanley Bryant went down with the injuries. Steve Myddleton replaced him on the right tackle and Jon Gott took Myddleton spot. Most of the Riders' defensive pressure came from the right side especially in the 2nd half. Awesome game by Burris and his receivers + RBs.

Defense have some kind of mixed reviews. In the first half, they relied on the defensive back again and did not put a lot of pressures on Durant. 2nd half was different and they chased Durant out of the game. Penalties killed them again and luckily they were well ahead already. Some of their penalties are warranted but some are just questionable. I don't even remember how many late penalty flags the refs threw. They seems to be letting the Riders' fans dictate the penalties especially the PI. I am just glad Raymond had an INT TD before the end of the first half.

Special teams defense played well stopping Brandon West and Tristaqn Jackson. Eric Fraser was a beast on return coverage.

Love it Stamps beating the Riders 45-35. They have a bye week on Week 8 then will play the Eskimos back-to-back soon.

Are you kidding? The Stamps kicked their ass in every way. That interception just made the second half a who cares half. Otherwise the Stamps would have won be more.

Probably more of a case of the Stamps letting up. The Riders had no business being in this game like they had no business being in the Grey Cup or even the playoffs last year.

Yeah i dont get the "they probably lose if Raymond doesnt score" stuff either. The Stamps were in control of that game from the start. Its human nature to ease up when you were cruising as they were...and thats on both sides of the ball. That was evidenced near the end when they needed a drive to put the game away....they were methodical, accurate and never looked like they would never not get things done.

When you consider that this game had all the ngredients for a loss....on the road against a team they saw and beat 2 weeks ago, a team that was desperate to get things turned around with a coaching staff that is hearing all the calls for their heads, players that know they are playing for their job with recent arrivals on the practice roster, and a fan base that was there in droves to see the first home win of the year....yet the Stamps dominated them.

That is a great win and should be enjoyed by all their fans, not criticized for a couple lapses in focus.

Yup, solid win. The offense clicked exactly like last week, and when required in the 4th, drove down the field to take time off and score points.

After the pick 6, Jones kept the pressure on Durant, maybe because they wanted to force Durant as he was already doubting himself, and maybe because Jones wanted to try some different looks and a different game plan in a blowout game to see how his players would respond playing that kind of defense, instead of trying it in practice situations. Durant managed to avoid the pressure and was able to find the open guys, but by no means was this one ever in doubt at that 38-14 poit, no matter the faint hopes that Suitor was trying to keep alive while talking through his Rider pom poms.

Don't understand how we would have lost if Raymond doesn't score. We just eased and played soft after the lead. When we had to close it out we easily marched down scored abd came home. The riders suck a big one, that was a easy win. Only thing I'm pissed about is easing up I wanted to throttle those bums at home straight up embarrass them like that fan base and team deserved.

The Raymond play wasn't the turning point, it was the Durant fumble.

If the Riders score a major and make the game 24-21 (or would it have been 21-21?) at half it is a totally different game.

The Raymond pick was just the nail in the coffin.

Really frustrating to see a good effort from the offense and have the D #### the bed this time.

Don't think the riders effort on offense was good. A lot of lapses in focus, easy catches dropped and 3 turnovers. The only time they looked good was when it was garbage time to pad stats against a team that was clearly laying off. Not to mention the numerous bull#### pi and roughing calls, that allowed them to score.

Riders season was easily summed up when that goof ball Hughes was doing backflips when his team made it 38-17 lol

I don't but that, the Stamps changed their game plan for the second half because they had a massive lead over the Riders.

The defense for the most part went from the man to man to the prevent zone a few minutes into the third, the offense went into clock eating mode which is short underneath stuff and the running game.

The Rider's didn't do anything even great in the second half, the Stamps made the game a lot easier for them, and when the Stamps needed the offense in the fourth quarter it responded and put another touchdown up.

The other thing that worked against the Stamps was they were kicking the crap out of the Riders and the whole two week vacation thing came into play.

If the Rider's go into Toronto next week thinking they've solved their offensive woes the Argo's will kick the crap out of them.

The other thing I noticed watching the game was that whenever they zoomed in on Durant on the sidelines he wasn't talking to Doug Berry, that would be ok if he wasn't throwing picks and fumbling the ball, but the guy is just not showing much leadership out there.
