I guess it depends on you perspective. They certainly want a lot more from him, but hes become more of a provider for Gomez than the standout goalscorer he broke out as.

Hes still valuable to the national team because of his chemistry with Gomez.

I'd consider Muller to have been a disappointment since the World Cup, but I think thats largely because of what was expected of him. I think he'll pull a 'Gomez-esque' turnaround in a year or so though.

This is the type of situation that I thought COULD lead to City crumbling a bit. When they are winning every game it is easy to share playing time. This, however, will surely lead to some unrest with players who didn't get to play if the team loses or draws this game. Time to see if Mancini really can control those egos.

If level it comes down to the record between the two teams level on points.

Chelsea draw 0-0 or 1-1, thy're through. A 2-2 or higher scoring draw (with Chelsea's defence it is possible) and Valencia are through.

BTW - slight change - a 1-1 draw will see Valencia through.
