I couldn't be further from a pot smoker. Hell, I can barely handle a casual smoke however I watched "The Union" last night out of boredom and do believe that it will be legalized in Canada very soon.
The study about it killing brain cells is a funny one. The researchers gas masked monkeys and put the equivalent of thousands of joints into them each day. Its no wonder it was killing brain cells.

Either way, legal or illegal it doesn't make a difference to me. I would just rather see the millions of dollars spent on housing the criminals in prisons, fighting the war on drugs and the court systems being tied up used elsewhere.
