Dear Seahawks: I thought we fired Schottenheimer. What's up with all these straight-ahead first down running plays?

Not all bad news. Raiders are 2-0 beating two good teams in the Ravens and Steelers.

Justin Herbert battling his own team more than the Cowboys.

That was a very poor call on calling Herbert in the grasp there, Cowboys very lucky there.

Seattle is fine.

Not letting Wilson call the 3rd and 3 pass to Metcalf isn't ideal, terrible tackling by the secondary on Henry's TD, and a bad taunting call, and the missed PAT by Meyers on the last Seattle Td is huge.

They can't stop anything. Like they can't even just pick a thing to not allow and stop it. Like, hey, you can throw on us but you can't run - nope. You can do both. You can do whatever you like against this defence.

The Cowboys aren't great but they should win this division this year (If Dak doesn't die) by Thanksgiving.

Looks like a terrible call in Seattle. That was a safety to win the game.

Probably won't matter, Titans should be able to close this out.

Now Wilson locking in soley on Lockett and Metcalf. Just terrible throws to guys not open. Even in the play that should've been a safety.

This is why Wilson's complaining last year and making Schottenheimer a scape goat is going to hurt Seattle. He's effectively the OC now as he got some patsy OC, and makes terrible decisions thinking that everything he touches turns to gold and that the same play you make in the first half is going to work in the second half as if the opponents don't make adjustments. That cost them this game in the second half and OT with zero running game and focusing only on trying to force to his favourite guys.

With how fiercely competitive the NFC West will be that's a pretty horrible loss for the Seahawks.

It doesn't matter. Even if they won the thing they are just not good enough to win more than one playoff game. Same ceiling regardless of whether they're in the WC or not.
