Let's be real, most of us would gladly take being rich/wealthy -- multi-millionaire, billionaire, whatever -- if a genie in a lamp gave us the option to do so, especially given we all strive to achieve at least some form of financial freedom in our lives, and the rest who wouldn't are lying. I'm personally aiming for the "'fuсk you' money" level.
Of course. That's precisely why its hilarious to pretend that rich people are one of the vulnerable groups who really need to be protected from random internet users wishing them harm.

Of course. It also makes the whole "fuсk the rich" thing kind of empty and stupid too. If we could snap our fingers and achieve it, we all would.
Man I hope I’m never rich, I don’t think I could handle that sort of persecution. Best I just stick with being pro-union while living in a province governed by the UCP where I can feel safe.

If that's how people actually got rich I'd have less of a problem. Too often it's done through exploitation of people and resources.
And if I got rich from a genie I wouldn't actively try to #### over people who weren't as lucky.
I don't think we're talking about Land Rover rich, so I hope you're not feeling slighted. It's more of the fleet of supercars that are just an excuse to park their unspendable amount of wealth kind of rich.

What's with all these vehicles now with plates starting with 0 or a just a letter. Rentals? Fleet vehicles?
Seems like a flood of them now and they all have absolutely stupid ####ing useless drivers? Horrific lane changes, egregious illegal u-turns in the middle of a road over the median, driving right through 4 way stops with no pause, dual turns when only single lanes are allowed, etc.
Came across somebody that was trying to turn right onto 6th Avenue but going the wrong way today. Gave me the finger for honking at them to try to warn them and they ended up just turning back then cutting across all the lanes on 6th. Basically just ran the red light I guess.
Then had somebody stop at a green light just to roll down their windows to ask pedestrians for directions while they were waiting to cross the street. No clue or care in the world.

To be fair, while the rich are capitalizing from that, it's consumers like all of us purchasing and using products made from that exact exploitation that have enabled their wealth.

That Amazon truck that is stopped on my block 23 times a day doesn't make chinese slave owners and Jeff Bezos money?

Yup, there is no ethical consumption under capitalism. Doesn't mean we shouldnt try to be better or to hold those at the top accountable

No slight felt here at all, especially since I just finished pointing out I wish I was rich.
Hell, to feel slighted by such comments would itself be a measure of success.
