I think Theim has to learn how to play outside of clay. On Clay he was by far the 2nd best player this year beating both Nadal and Djokovic.

Delpo in this state will be no match for Roger. 3-0.
On that note, anyone know where I can buy a Federer hat in calgary? or just online.
and Emma Stone looks like Sally Field in that movie.

There's a store called Racquet Central or Racquet Network that may have it. Wouldn't hurt to call ahead though.

His past 3 opponents had zero weapons to hurt Fed but Delpo has a serve and a forehand to hurt anyone. I hope he has some gas left in his tank tho

If I'm not mistaken, the Davis cup rosters are due sometime today.
I'm going to go out on a limb and assume it will consist of Shapovalov, Pospisil and Nestor with Schnur as an alternate (apparently Polansky has declined and Felix is slated to continue playing challengers this month).
Unless Milos is somehow available this rubber may be a lot closer than it should have been.

Given Pospisil withdrew from doubles in New York, I'm not entirely certain he'll be good to go either. Good thing for Tennis Canada that Shapovalov came out of nowhere in August, as it would have been an ugly roster to try to market otherwise.

At this point, it looks like Shapovalov v Bhambri at 2:45 followed by Pospisil v Ramanathan on the Friday.
With Milos out, Shapovalov is our #1. Who ever saw that coming?

It sounds like he has been black balled by the Indian tennis team after walking out on the matches during their tie earlier this year.

That order of play makes sense.
With Vasek banged up I'm thinking they may run with either Denis or Schnur for the doubles match with Nestor on Saturday. The last thing the team would need is to drop that match due to injury if Vasek's body won't hold up to what could be 10 sets of tennis for him at that point.

I didn't watch the PCB - Diego match, but PCB won in straight sets 6-4 6-4 6-2. There was talk that Diego may have suffered an injury in his previous match that may have played a factor today.

Carreno Busta cruised to victory today, you have to think Shap would have won today as well. Sam Querry I think has the bottom half wrapped up. He is a player which actually scares me as a Nadal fan to win it all. He beat Murray, Djokovic and Nadal in the past year and a bit so the guy can play and will be the heavy crowd favorite if he plays Nadal in the finals. Not looking past Rublev or Federer or even Delpo at this point.

Anyone hear anything about Serena Williams having a baby recently? I think ESPN might have mentioned it once or a hundred times.
