Tranny,

I see the Packers signed Kalispell native Mike Reilly to replace Brohm. Glad to see him catch on with someone!

Speaking of Indy..........i'm really looking forward to the challenge of Baltimore this week. Ray Lewis and Ed Reed are two amazing players on defense.
Been pretty spoiled being a Colts fan the last whole wack of years. Besides some heartbreaking playoff losses, they always have a ton of primetime games every year along with being the national game on CBS or Fox. This and the fact that there offense is always one of the best in the league along with Peyton Manning really finding a personality and being a very likeable guy to root for. Quite spoiled

Yeah and I don't take it for granted. It's tough to win games in the NFL so I appreciate what the Colts do.

It's even more amazing how they win with so many injuries. For example tomorrow the ENTIRE starting secondary is out with injuries!

With cornerback Kelvin Hayden (knee) and free safety Antoine Bethea (foot) missing their second consecutive day of practice and strong safety Bob Sanders (torn left biceps) and cornerback Marlin Jackson (torn left anterior cruciate ligament) on injured reserve, the Colts might play Sunday without their entire starting secondary.

The AFC Wildcard hunt is shaping up to be a fight to the finish. Which of the contenders does everyone see winning this week?

I'm liking..

Houston over Tennessee- this is a completely different Houston defense then the one the Titans put up 31 on in week 2. Houston is coming off a bye and I think they spank the Titans by 14+ and send a message to the rest of the league on MNF.

Pittsburgh over the Chiefs- will be a slaughter for the Champs.

San Diego over Denver- If Kyle Orton was playing I think it would be a toss-up. With Chris Simms playing I look for Denver to continue their slide.

Indy over Baltimore- I think this one is going to be closer then most think. If Baltimore can get their run game going I think there's a good chance this is the week Indy drops one. Not having Suggs available is a big loss for the Ravens.

Buffalo over Jacksonville- Gut feeling. I like Buffalo to respond well to the head coaching change and sneak out an emotional victory.

Miami took care of business this week already.

Projected records after Week 11:
Steelers: 7-3
Denver: 6-4
Houston: 6-4
Jacksonville: 5-5
Baltimore: 5-5
Dolphins: 5-5

Mort just reported Orton is out for today. Makes that game very interesting and likely a whole lot of run, run, run from the Broncos.

Also, both turner and Norwood are out for the Falcons...could make for a very long day for the Atlanta offense.

Interesting article in GB today where a personel guy from an AFC team breaks down the NFC wild card race.

Quote:
With that in mind, the Green Bay Press-Gazette this past week examined each contender’s conference record, remaining schedule, strengths and weaknesses, then conducted an extensive interview with a high-ranking AFC personnel man, who agreed to share his thoughts anonymously and make a prediction about the NFC playoff field.

So the Steelers who have had major issues with return touch downs against on Special teams....opening play against the lowly Chiefs....Jamaal Charles runs it back for a TD. That can't be good for your confidence!

Also looks like the Colts are going to roll the Ravens today. Dallas Clark with some kind of one handed catch to get the TD and now there might be a fumbe by the Ravens on the kick off.

Great play by Brandon Flowers there to get the Chiefs the turnover.

This game should already be 14-0 Chiefs, they need to no squander another opportunity!

You can look at it that way, or you can look at it as an opportunity to stretch the field. Simms has a cannon and if this week of practice has him comfortable enough they will use it.

But yeah, I do think they will run the ball a lot mainly because San Diego is weak up the middle.

Offense looks good today. Garcon catches a 66 yard pass and then Clark catches a 3 yard TD to make it 7-0.

Colts then hold Ravens to a FG.

7-3 Colts and Indy is now on their 2nd offensive possession.

EDIT: Great. Baltimore gets a INT and is now at the Indy 29.

The Chiefs had a real opporutnity to make this game interesting, but Todd Haley decided to play Marty Ball.

Idiot.

I don't know about that. I don't think the Chiefs want to be giving up the ball at the 50 yard line to the Steelers in the first quarter. The Chiefs best chance for scoring today is by returning kick offs anyways. I'm pretty sure the Chiefs won't be getting 150 yards of total offence in this game and I don't think they can muster up 1 yard against the Steelers D on a 4th and 1.

If I'm Tomlin, I start telling Reed to kick the ball out of bounds all day. KC ain't going to do anything to your defence and eventually you'll get your 30 points against that D.

The Browns are absolutely throttling the Lions. 24-3 still in the first quarter. Wow.

24-10 now, stil in the first quarter. About 30 seconds left and the teams have combined for 342 yards of total offense in 14 and a half minutes!

Who said anything about running?

Ravens defense is good. Manning gets picked for the 2nd time today.

7-6 Colts in the 2nd quarter. Baltimore has the ball at their own 45 with a chance to take the lead.

Detroit making a big comeback.

I can't decide if I want them to win or lose.

It sure would be nice to ensure that we can get Eric Berry and a win doesn't so much other than make a 1-15 season into a 2-14 season.

A win, coming from down 21, would do a lot to boost Stafford's confidence. For the long term, I think you'd like to see that!

Besides, Gerald McCoy or Ndamukong Suh wouldn't be bad alternatives to Berry.

I'll bet my life savings that Pittsburgh goes into the end zone on this drive to go up 17-7 on the Chiefs who have 2 first downs this half. Every drive the Chiefs end up with a 2nd and 20 or something stupid which means 0 for on third down. This one will be 41-7 when it's all said and done.

T.O. definitely isn't the same player but he's being totally wasted on the Bills...their QBs have no idea how to get him the ball.
