Gonna regret posting this and we're going to have to immediatly agree to disagree because I hate playing insider but that's only kinda true. They were mad but because that he said it publicly, not his general thoughts.
Craig Conroy, Brad Pascal, Jarome Iginla and the management team are competitors, same as Rasmus Andersson. They don't want to lose and don't show up to the rink to lose. Don't know if you saw Conroy in the press box during the Canes win following the press box but he was smiling and cheering on the goals. Some guys were upset, not by his thoughts, but because it's not good to take shots at your home team fans. Hockey fans aren't exactly the most nuanced of thinkers. Anderrson's mentality if completely different from a fan. There's no reason to confuse the two or be offended by it. Conroy and Andersson have a really good relationship and any thought that that was some final straw "That's it!" moment are just not true I believe, not from what I've seen and heard.
