Another dominant Jones performance

It’s too bad Ngannou isn’t in the UFC anymore, him vs Jones would be so intriguing. Would Jones be able to take a punch from him?

That’s definitely a wrap on Stipe’s career

Yeah Ngannou vs Jones would be incredible. What a shame.

Ngannou would’ve been nice but to me I want to see Pereira. He’s got two fights left or so I imagine. I have no idea if Aspinal is good but Pereira is dominant right now. That would definitely be a good matchup. Jon’s long limbs and kicks are what separates him from the other heavyweights. He’s just a unicorn in his weight class more than skills imo.

Amazing that a guy can take 20 months off fights and come back with the performance Jones did. People talking about Stipe's ring rust... Jones had no rust. I'm not a Jones fan at all, and was hoping he'd fall on his face tonight, but personal life aside, he is one of the greatest and made that look easy.
Unsure where chandler goes from here. I guess it's the BMF circuit, give his holloway callout. One of the toughest dudes on the planet and a blast to watch in every fight, but age catching up with him as well. Joining the likes of Nate Diaz, Holloway and Poirier. A legend, but title days may be behind him. Though I'd rather watch a Holloway/Poirier/Chandler fight anyday of the week vs. a five round grappling/hugging match (looking at you Merab...).

Pereira/Jones would be unbelievable. Didn't like Pereira at first because initially I thought he got to skip the line because he beat Adesanya in the old kickboxing days. He has proved himself over and over since.
I'd never bet against Pereira... but I might if it was Jones. If the fight goes to the mat you'd have to think Jones would have the advantage. Pereira ending Jones would be a satisfying ending. Pereira also 50 times more likable than Jones.

Scumbaggery profile continues to rise.

Well a Dagestani finally lost tonight... Merab outclassed Umar. Makhachev finished Moicano in less than a minute though. Would have been crazy if Moicano had KO'ed him.... I'm not a fan of Islam's person but he is on another level, proved once again. Khabib was a lot more humble.

Umar is still young, but Merab was definitely a step above even him. Islam proved why he's champion though. I still think Khabib was better than even champ-Islam.

Crazy spin kick KO in the first fight of tonight’s main card. Haven’t watched a ppv in quite a while so hopefully it’s a good one.

Terrible main event. Now I remember why I don’t bother with UFC that much anymore.

I can't remember the last one I watched. I started losing interest when all of the fighters that got me into UFC like GSP started retiring.

I wouldn’t say I’ve lost interest completely, but I can’t get into all the PPVs for sure. There are so many, and too many of those end up being so anticlimactic.

In addition to what everyone has said I find the product hard to get behind. I know now they're more talented so guys come out of nowhere and upset the champ, but then the champs tend to drop off fast after getting KO'd. That's why particularly exceptional people like Jones are the main draws. An example is Israel A. He was good for awhile and has fallen off sharply. There are too many guys like that. Pereira is a hard puncher and a guy who will outmuscle, but what happened last night was bound to happen as he's not an all around guy.

The WWE type promotions from everyone these days is a bit much. Then hugging it out after just reeks of fake promotion. There has to be another way they can promote the fight instead of pretending to be frothing dogs in the weigh ins. It's all getting old.

I’ve said it on here before but I watch a lot more of One Fighting Championship now
They have bigger fight nights live on Prime with a mix of mma and Muay Thai and then they have Friday night fights on YouTube which is more Muay Thai. Fights are typically way better and the whole One culture is so different from the UFC. Recommend it to anyone looking for an alternative to the UFC.

Volk wins tonight in a banger of a fight. Lopes was a man possessed. Like both of those fighters. And surprised as hell how much Paddy dominated Chandler. I did not see the fight going that way. I hugely keep underestimating Pimblett.
He is fun to watch. Thought either chandler knocks him the hell out or paddy sneaks in a submission .

Jon Jones has apparently decided to retire.

If he's done, what a career. His only loss was a joke where he was DQed for 12 to 6 elbows while he handily beat Matt Hamel into a bloody pulp.

Imagine what his career would have looked like minus all the idiotic suspension worthy stuff and the stripped titles.

Never beaten, never outscored. Nobody ever took a title from him in the octagon.
