I lean to think Robertson's more available because they just gave Johnston his new deal, and Robertson's due a raise soon.

They also signed Johnston to his extension same day they acquired Rantanen, which would lead you to think that's their expected 1-2 punch going forward.

But agree things can change, we'll see.

Conroy has trade Toffoli, Hanifin, Lindholm, Zadorov, Markstrom, Tanev, Mangiapane, Kuzmenko. He does not really seem like the type of guy who has historically missed an opportunity to make trades in line with his plan for the team. What you are saying could be a fever dream but it certainly would not be what Conroy’s history would show is likely to happen. Not sure a GM has traded more roster players off his team in the last 24 months than Conroy.

That's fine. I have no problem cheering for an incompetent team, if that's how I felt. But when you describe them as having questionable morals I wonder why you cheer for them.

And i don't think we are lapping up garbage. We just are trying to have fun following our team instead of wallowing in the muck.
