Zadorov is one of the few guys that seems to really want to play here. I’d be disappointed if they moved him.

I'm okay with Duclair. We still need to ice a team, and maybe he'd be a good fit again with Huby. Just depends what we give up - no futures please. And no Zadorov.

A guy I hope the Flames don't trade is Zadorov. He's been good, still not old, and to have camaraderie with Sharangovich could help.

I’d be really annoyed if the flames gave up any assets to acquire Duclair. Would be dumb to not build by getting young.

Duclair would be a solid middle six guy....having him as a centerpiece to a Hanifin trade should be a big now. Add Lundell, and maybe Calgary throws back the NJ 3rd?

I like Duclair, and I'm not opposed to Florida getting some help on the backend. I'd need to see a decent pick coming back though (edit: or even better, Lundell).
Also, just say nyet to trading Zadorov.

It's kinda hard to upgrade on everything he brings to the table though. Like some players just aren't apples to apples. He's pretty unique.

I'm ok with grabbing duclair if and only if you have a good plan on someone to play between he and huberdeau. Then it's a mid rounder or meh prospect.
If lindy is out (I think yes) and Backlund is out, you have:
Huby-?-duclair
Mangiapane/Pelletier-kadri-sharangovich
For potential top 6 players next season. Lindy might fit there but backs definitely doesn't.
