Uhh 16 straight scoreless innings? Try 27. He went 7 scoreless against Pitt before his shutout and the game before against seattle he went scoreless on the last four after being squeezed in the first. (Two strikeouts not called)

I genuinely like Micallef. Sid was alright when he was on The Score, then he became the soap box guy and became annoying. Seeing him on Breakfast Television being the goody goody loudmouth is aggravating. Micallef has always just been himself and it's a shame his show ended.

And that's with a couple of bad luck events that added 7 earned runs to his numbers after that start. He's been really solid since that first outing.

Berrios has been alright too. Honestly if Manoah was pitching like he did last year this team would be dominating.

Berrios has been the same as he was last year outside of two months. Inconsistent with a lean towards awful more than good.

Looks like White’s shoulder is acting up. It sucks in that we don’t have a number 6 if there is an injury or if we needed to sit down Manoah…but it also gives us more time to make decisions on Richards and Bass vs Pearson. If Cimber comes back, we might face those decisions as well although I believe he still has options…but I doubt they send him to AAA.

I have to say, for the oddest reason I find Nestor Cortes one of the funniest likeable players around. He doesn't take his Yankee position too seriously.
