How many more cups would we have if Cornish never retired.

Glad Harris won. Elite talent gets recognized. Served his time. Cost his team home field and came back and played like a champ.

This lady is a legend. She called him an idiot in an article I read earlier today. Saying there are more deserving fans of the attention he’s getting.

Congrats to the Bombers, long time coming. Agreed wish it was a closer game, Hamilton played their worst game of the year in the biggest game of the year. That did not look like a 17-3 team.

Bombers winning in Calgary, in Regina, then against Hamilton..impressive.

Well done Bombers! Happy for their city and team. Feel bad for Hamilton, bad time to choke and not show up.

knew this game was over as soon as the Ti-Cats turned over the ball in their first two series. Maybe the Cats were sold on their own hype, or maybe they partied too hard. But they played slow all day long and the Bombers played fast.

Was at the game. Lived in Winnipeg for 6 years, was trying my best to fit in as a Bombers fan. Congrats to all the true fans who've waited 29 years for this.

As a Stamps fan though, this still hurts a bit... I can't help but feel that neither of those teams were of the caliber that Calgary sent to the Grey Cup the last three years. And yet somehow we have the same number of Championships over those years as Toronto, Ottawa, and Winnipeg. Ouch.

There have been a lot of 15-3 Stamps teams who have choked in the Grey Cup over the years. So Ti-Cats fans we feel your pain.

I’m not with you here. The Bombers dominated key facets of winning playoff games in a Canadian winter. Line of scrimmage, running game, and defense.

The Stamps teams can’t say the same. Those defences were great, but by and large they seem to have been designed to dominate under the sun.

For everyone that says Hamilton played poorly, I’d say the bombers d was very good. They smothered the ti-cats. Was an awesome lifetime experience to have been at the game.

I thought the bombers sealed it in the third by getting lints after the Hamilton TD

The humour in the men’s washroom post game was pure gold.

Had the worst hot dog ever at McMahon today, and then was disappointed on the drive home to not be able to get any radio coverage of the post game.

Congrats to Winnipeg, they were by far the better team today and had to beat Calgary and Saskatchewan to even get here. Hamilton didn’t have that level of competition and it showed

Defence still wins championships

Yeah, fair enough. The Bombers built a great team for winter football, and the snow bowl against the Argos stands out as a game where it would have helped to have a team like this. But... This was like a late fall game. Would have been nice to see our boys playing in it.

Winnipeg D was all over Evans and banks was his only target. When banks went down it was over. The drop on the long pass by Evans in the 3rd was unfortunate because the game may have been close afterwards.

It will be interesting to see who starts at QB in the peg next season.

Another great day for the CFL and TSN.
