Any who, I think it's not a big deal. It reminds me of the first iPhone vs the I Phone 4. The first IMO looks better head to head, but the new one is newer... So looks better, fresher. I think if they were put out head the head at the sametime the first gen iPad is better.

No biggie, it's a fantastic product. I see myself not needing to upgrade it for at least 2-3 years.

I was a big fan of the first iPad, but I really do think the thinner profile makes the second gen nicer looking.

Yeah, if all you want is an overgrown iPod Touch.

(I hope you guys know I'm kidding - I'm envious, but have no plans to upgrade my day 1 iPad.)

Hey just bought an iPad 2 and sold my Gen 1. I have to say the 2 is much better looking than the 1.

Well, considering the tablet market is only a year old, I think that might be a little premature to say that.

To be fair, everybody has a different threshold for upgrading/spending money. I'm sure some people still have and use the original iphone.

I got an IPad2 from the wife for my birthday today. Must say it's a pretty nice product. But I'm a total hack when it comes to tech gadjets. But on the positive side, it will probably keep me happy for a couple years.

Enjoy it. Check out the Apps thread for some recommended apps. Make sure you get iPad or Universal apps and not the iPhone counterparts.

I have an iPad (my first) on order but delivery isn't for another month. A buddy and I were searching for suitable iPads yesterday to no avail. Oh, well....

Tried a few future shops and best buys as well as the apple store at market mall.
