loving RoS so far.
30 mins in and I got a better weapon. Re-rolled a helm and got 6% crit on the first try.
At the end of the night I was 1285th in the world and 326th in Americas in DPS.
Still need to play around with the new passives and I think I need to re-think my paragon points allocation to increase my survivability.

Use diamonds in all of your gear for the all resists. Somebody mathed it out and it's a way more effective usage of the sockets compared to main stat.

When I logged out and logged back in the quest was available again. Overall I say Kormac takes things pretty well considering lol.

Any wizards need a weapon to help them level? Pick up this level reduced wand to help from 63-> 70.
I will hang onto it for a while, just see me in game or send a PM here.

Anyone try the Crusader yet?
I got my copy delivered today so my plan today is to get 1 of my characters to 70 then start the Crusader.

Really love my new helmet. Raekor's Will, the set helmet that gives all runes to Furious Charge with 5 pieces.
700+ strength
700+ vitality
socket
14% life - (this is the one I can change, might go for crit chance or something)
31% less duration from control impaired effects
Increased gold and health globes pickup by 2
The 2 set bonus gives an additional 500 vitality alone. A good helmet by itself but now I really want this set.
Anyone know any decent legendary farming strategies?

Yeah that's what I'm doing, getting my Wizard to 70 then start a Crusader.
Heh, got that legendary that gives you the imp thing that follows around picking up white and grey stuff and gives up a yellow every once in a while. Makes it hard to listen for actual imps!

Anyone else think Barbarian Belts are overly weighted in the loot tables? Each time I fill my inventory I have at least 3 or 4.

So I've discovered that this new expansion hates my DH. She cannot live in westmarch. Won't even get any drops.

So after finishing Act V, a couple thoughts
1. I can't believe a level designer looked at maps like Field of Misery or Desolate Sands and thought "too small". Holy #### are the areas ever massive, like two or three times the size of the biggest in vanilla D3. For full clear you're looking at an hour or more on some of them
2. They went a little overboard on the boss difficulty compared to the first 4 bosses, each of the 3 major boss fights you have make Diablo himself look like a #####. And Malthael himself is absolutely ridiculous, a buddy and I had no problem clearing the rest of the act on Torment 1 but come him we had to retry about half a dozen times, and barely scraped by when we did finally bring him down. I get that the first 4 act bosses were easy and they wanted to change that, but they went so far as to dissuade me from doing that act on any of my other characters
Other than that I really like the expansion. Adventure mode is awesome, crazy xp and the mob density is ramped up huge. The new skills are great too, my monk went from a pure support class relying on others for DPS to a killing machine, much more fun

Was able to tool around in this for a few hours this evening. Quite a surprise, honestly. I really liked it. Got a few lucky drops (a really nice Legendary 1h), and I increased my DPS by nearly 110,000. Having a blast, but yeah...it's HUGE.

I hit a wall a the battering ram, just couldn't get the DPS to clear it at Torment 1, so had to drop down to Master.
Finished Malthael at Master and he wasn't too bad.
Playing with Adventure Mode right now, working on my gear, and at about 360k damage (was 160k when expansion came out) and things are going much quicker. Will have to go back and do Malthael again on Torment.
Also started leveling my DH to 70, as I picked up a nice level reduction bow to help speed things up. 2.1k damage 1500 LoH, and level reduced to 40.
CubicalGeek, I still have that 1.9k damage Wand for you if you want it.

Level 40 2.1k damage?!? Yeesh, makes getting new characters leveled up easy.
I was going to ask you for that wand but then I got this:
25% Frozen Orb, lol..
Then I got this:
35% Fiery ball.

I got a legendary belt for my barb last night that gives me 14% extra damage to weapon throw...and I happen to be a boulder toss barb! Act 5 is definitely way tougher than the previous acts. I actually have to be careful on T1 difficulty.
Boulder Toss + Avalanche /w Volcano rune = awesome.

I got this legendary sword that spawns an angel to fight by your side temporarily. It's pretty hilarious because when it expires, it just explodes into a pile of blue glowing goo. Too bad it's only a lv 61 weapon, so it'll be obsolete very shortly.

Yeah. The Damage on my Barb is weak sauce in T1 act 5 and my DH can't take a hit whatsoever. Good challenge for sure. Just need some drops now as there no AH to fall back on.

I don't know if anyone else went through all the doors in Westmarch during the quest where you have to find those soul harvester things, but some of the mini events were very cool...much more interesting at least than most of the ones in Act 1-4. The challenge in the Plague Halls (I think it was called that?) with the four rotating fire streams was very difficult. I was thankful to have Leap available for that!
I got a legendary shield and as soon as I hit 65 I slapped it on as my barb was starting to take too much damage in Torment 1.

There was one quest where you had to pick from 3 golden chests. One of them had the loot. The others were trapped. I picked wrong the first time, and a bunch of meteors would fall down, spawning those shadow demon things. Picked right the second time! That was a pretty cool event.
Anyway been running T2 with my WD so far. Everything was going really well until I hit that first boss on the way out of Westmarch. That thing killed me like 5 times before I finished it off. It totally ignored my Templar's taunts and my critters and kept gunning directly for me. Not even walk towards me. Teleport straight to me. It would also spawn crazy minions that kept blocking off my escape paths. So brutal hahah.
Also, the new piranha skill for WD is hilarious. Especially the Summon Bogadile rune. Too bad I can't find any practical use for the skill yet. I still prefer spamming corpse bombs, and don't really wanna replace my fetishes, dogs, golem and mass confusion.
