I missed last week's Destructor event (finished 7/10 but got busy with real life stuff and forgot to finish the last 3) so I don't know what the drop was. I did this week's Destructor event and got a swiss army knife again.

I wonder if that's all you ever get or if, like the Slimer thing, you get a better reward for repeating the task several times in a row.

Big time fail for Beeline, if you ask me. This game is a master class in grinding and the way the slimes and manuals keep you from advancing, you can't even make in game purchases to keep the party going. I've set my kids up to do the busting for me. Even for hard battles, my three year old can usually keep at least one Buster alive long enough to collect the booty following a victory. The Busters attack the closest targets and really do most of the dirty work themselves. Rarely is using a skill the difference between victory and defeat.

Everything I've heard about Mailbox is that the wait is longer than you'll actually use it.

Finally have mailbox on my phone this morning. It's really easy to handle and organize your mail. It almost forces you to do so, as the counter on the icon shows the number of messages in your inbox, and not the number of unread messages. It's intended that you do not leave messages in your inbox.

The feature that sends you an email later will be interesting, I'll see how useful it is after I give it a bit of a try.

It doesn't seem to be able to interact with the preexisting folders I have in gmail, that might be a problem. I'll see if I can figure it out.

EDIT: It only interacts with subfolders under the "[mailbox]" main folder. Certainly can work around that. I just created a folder in gmail as a subfolder under the "[mailbox]? heading, and then went to the mailbox app, and it was there immediately.

It seems like a simple fix could be that Mailbox could be made to interact with all of your folders.

Yup, just move your subfolders from your Gmail folder structure to the Mailbox Folder

Ghostbusters updated over the weekend dramatically reducing the amount of slime needed for each floor. You also get more slime from various busts, including Destructor events, and they added a pile of achievements to the task list so you can earn more cash. Money is also way easier to come by.

Those GD bunnies and spiders are tricky. Seems there's a bit of strategy necessary to beat some of the baddies now.

So far, the update has breathed new life into the game and made it fun to play again.

Mailbox is terrible. Such a waste. The UI is nice, but I hated how it worked. I maintain a zero unread inbox, but not a zero inbox.

I agree almost quit the game. The last updates might have saved for me.

Don't think it's been mentioned, but if anyone likes shopping at Canadian Tire, they have a very good app. Shows the weekly flyer, and has a scanner built in that not only shows the price but also reviews and specs!

The weather app from Yahoo is pretty cool. It grabs a photo from Flickr of the location you are checking. This photo tries to match the time of day and the current weather conditions. Easy to use and free.
