Because only US, Mexico and Canada have VAR, the other 5 countries do not so CONCACAF decided not to invest.

I think Mexico is dropping everyone back because they don’t think Canada can play through them. Negates the speed we have in guys like Alphonso.

Feels like a chess match rather than the usual game at Azteca where Mexico have 75% of the possession and are coming at Canada in waves before taking their foot off the pedal.
Mexico finished their chance, which looked to be offside to me. Canada haven't finished theirs. That's the difference so far.

The players are so fit now I don't think altitude plays as big a factor anymore like 20 years ago when players would feel like they were running in sand after 15 minutes.
