Dream team fail.

Can't believe I fell for the hype in the preseason.

Seahawks to a man are all still playing for their coach. The Eagles aren't. Some guys still are, others look pretty disconnected. Lynch has lived up to his beast mode of late here.

I think we can now close the book on the Eagles season. I feel bad for Lesean McCoy, he's done everything you could ask. Can't say that about too many of his teammates.

What jersey are we going to see DeSean Jackson wearing next season? I'm willing to bet it won't be the Egales

Solid win tonight, hapless Eagles or not.

Defense gets rewarded with points off turnovers, and finally the proper attention paid to them, as they've been the main reason Seattle's won 5 games, and been within one score in 5 or 6 of their 7 losses, up until late in the 4th of each of those games.

Jackson playing better as time goes on, even with a torn pec. Finding the open men, and not just on bubble screen. All this without Williams, who's done nothing this season, and an average Sidney Rice who's now done. Obviously Lynch is emerging into the player Buffalo thought they had with 4 or 5 100 yard games now, showing last years playoff run vs NO was no fluke, and a guy like Doug Baldwin coming into his own.

Good for Carroll to stick with Browner. He's gotten a lot of penalties this year, and got torched 4 days ago against the Redskins on the game winning TD. Unlike maybe other coaches in the league, Carroll's had him out there every play, every game, forcing him to learn corner no matter what. 2 picks today, 4 on the year now. That whole defense playing solid...LB's without Curry look a lot more organized, and Chancellor and Thomas at S are doing well.

Progression is being made in Seattle, they're likely to finish 7-9 but maybe a better overall team than last year. Taking ATL to the final kick, not having Jackson and Lynch against a brutal CLE team are two games that could've gone the other way, and then running out of gas against CIN and WSH at home late in the 4th, blowing the lead, or this team could be .500 or better right now.

Jackson is turning over a new leaf for sure...a decision will still have to be made this offseason on which way the team is going to go as far as that postion goes, but he's blown off a lot of doubters with his play the past month or so.

Next, a Monday nighter against the Rams. Probably the last primetime game for a season+, but Seattle will be back on an evening game sooner than later if the team can continue on the path they are on now.

I bet McClain barely gets a misdemeanor and never does anything more than community service. He won't miss any game action. Tis the justice system for NFL players.

I will reserve judgement on McClain until the courts sort it out. His attorney said he is innocent and I give him the benefit that all citizens should have. Innocent until proven guilty. Maybe he is smiling in that pic because he knows it's a bs charge?

I hope other teams were watching the way this punk played last night and don't reward him with a long term deal.

Giants DC talks some smack about Aaron rodgers and the O-Line.

Now...there is no question that the packers O-line is a bit thin due to injuries and they havent been anything better than average all year, so it may come to pass that what he is saying happens...however....this is the kind of stuff that Rodgers thrives on and has since he was a kid who continually got overlooked. With the zone he is in and a little extra payback motivation, and seeing what Brees did to that secondary last week...this thing could get ugly for NY.

I think this is the trap game for the Packers and I predict this to be their one loss this season.

Actually i hope so believe it or not....a loss takes away all the extra attention BS of a perfect season and just allows the team to focus on the next game/team.

I think the Giants are just too banged up. If that unreal pass rush came back, Bradshaw plays close to 100% and Eli plays mistake free then maybe, but I just don't see it. The Packers don't seem like the type right now to have an off game. And when they're on, damn they're good. Well offensively, their defense could use some work.

Well I think he deserves the benefit of the doubt. I didn't witness the crime so I don't know if it happened.

I'd give him some benefit if not for the fact the guy was shot at while in Decatur in the fall. Clearly he runs with an upstanding group of citizens and steers clear of trouble. This guy either needs to change his habits or risk winding up dead.

Maybe, but that is not just a smile.

The smile is actually what prompted my post, not the alledged act. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on that, but not on how he reacted to being cuffed. That speaks volumes about who he is.
