Leafs 1st is top-5 protected only.
Leafs are 5 points out of the bottom 10. With Bruins adding, gives more reason to cheer against the Leafs, could easily be another top-10 draft pick.

I thought it was the usual thing to go by the player's age at the start of the season. Lohrei turns 25 tomorrow. Wouldn't that make this year his 24-year-old season?

Wouldn’t that be something. Brad gets to watch Conroy draft viggo or malholtra

The comments about Lohrei remind me a lot of the comments about Bahl when the Markstrom trade became official. Not on style of play but more about him being a ‘throw-in’ or how meh his addition in the trade was.
If it is Lohrei coming back as part of the deal, man I hope it’s Déjà vu.

I've got Poitras on my fantasy hockey bench. So this will be a fun day.
21 year old Right handed center. Getting hot down on the providence team too.

You have no idea how much everyone had to scramble on that one.

To me with Andersson the one thing I really wanted was a better 1st round pick.
Getting the Leafs first round pick (if that's true) makes that a possibility, hopefully they go on another slump here with Nylander hurt again.

The kid can play, has an nhl release, just needs to put it all together. Ryan Huska has a pretty good track record with Dmen as well!!

If it ends up top 5, would Flames have option of the Bruins pick or the Leafs unprotected pick next year? That would be interesting.

I actually like the player he would just be the 3rd most inntriguing part for me.
Both players were 2nds but their stock has risen considerably since drafted

The possibility of a top 10-15 pick being added here is great.
I'm lukewarm on Poitras, as I am on Lohrei. There's room to grow for both though.

Getting the Leaf's pick is such a funny thing... Hope we draft the next superstar with that pick so the Leafs/BT never live it down.
