Would you take the 2nd brother knowing that the first brother is already gone? Or would you take the next prospect on your list?

Drafting them back to back and having them come onstage together would be awesome.

Going with the premise that the impact of the Rucks are greater the sum of their parts.

Ron and Rich Sutter never played together and had respectable careers.
You’re right. A rival GM could take the other Ruck just to screw with Conny.

Why do they have to be together?

Take one of he is the best prospect and deal with the 2nd if he is still available

Not my call... depends on how high in the draft you're willing to go. Less risk in the second round I would think.

Currently the Flames hold 34 and 36 with Columbus in the middle.

Would be a historic troll by Jarmo if he took the other one at 35. Bet it's a good faith "here's a 7th, let's flip picks" if they're still there.

God I'd love it. Give us the Med Hat draft, McKenna, Ruck, Ruck.

With Basha centering that line moving forward.

Would be such a fun story.

The Sedins were more valuable together than they would have been apart. I think this is often true with twins.

If you can get both, it is worth it to do so.

C'mon just do my all american dynamo line, you know you want to!!

Then Castagna or Basha as 3c with the rucks.

I love it haha.

Honestly we'd be the fastest team in the league with those forward lines.

Drafting Joseph in 2027 would be the final piece we need in this dream scenario

Drafting the Rucks together would be like adding a top blue chip prospect

No chance is all works out like we think it will but that's as good a shot as any of turning into a contending group.

Historically, you can almost count on one hand the number of players that have ever been drafted by the Flames organization that have hit 100 points in a season prior to jumping into the NHL. It’s extremely rare. If Calgary gets three of them in one draft, that would be pretty nuts and might just signify the turning point the organization has been looking for the past 30 years.

I went through the exercise last year when Parekh hit 100 in junior, it has not happened often.

Fleury
Nieuwendyk
Hull
Lombardi
Ryder
Mangiapane (did it twice! )
Tkachuk
Kerins
Parekh

I think that’s all of them. As the list can attest to, it’s not a guarantee of anything, but three in one draft would be crazy.
