Japan took that corner too early. Let it go down to 4:00

Martinez makes two subs, they score the tying goal and the winner. Genius, or dumb luck?

That goal reminded me of the one Kariya scored vs USA, where Lemieux let it go through his legs.

Genius play, great roll from Courtois, amazing ball from De Bruyne, great cross from Meunier, beautiful dummy from Lukaku, calm finish from Chadli.

We all know Martínez hasn’t got a clue, but first Fellaini and then Nacer Chadli of all players gets the winner. I thought Chadli offered some great runs in his time on, despite clearly not being at the level of the other attacking players.
Belgium had their scare and the match against Brazil should be incredible.

It may not have been complete dumb luck, but it was his idiocy in his initial formation that got them in trouble in the first place.
Frankly, Fellaini is what he is, the reason hes there is to be 'Plan B' but their starting formation was just begging to get picked apart.

Japan shouldnt feel bad at all, they played a hell of a game, one of the best against a very, very talented team and punched way above their weight class.
That was a classic.

Let's just hope he gets his tactics right for Friday, because on paper that is the game of the tournament....until one of them maybe plays France.
