The price gouging is illegal when there's a state of local emergency.

Relax. It's a typo or photoshop. There is no shortage of fruit in any of the stores. It's bottled water that's the main issue at many stores in the City.

That's likely the regular price. I'm not a Co Op shopper but Large fruit trays are typically $50-$60 unless you get it from Costco, which are way cheaper. Couldn't find pricing on line for Co op but here's one from a caterer.

I was thinking it is probably pretty normal- cherries are still pricey right now. And thats a lot of pre-sliced fruit.

Edit- wife thinks its a little high, but not crazy high

Chow mein only $6.49 though, so there's always that option.

As high as the price might seem, I don't believe this is price gouging or even an error. If you look at the catering menu for Safeway for example, a large fruit tray is $59.99 normally. I've bought a few fruit trays for work over the past few months and they all range in price between $50-65.

For some reason as soon as you chop up cheap fruit and it in a fancy tray, it costs 5x more then if you buy the fruit and do it yourself.

Unless you take the picture yourself about "price gouging" don't believe it.

I am curious to see the heating instructions on the back of the fruit tray.

1 - Heat for 45 seconds on high.

2- Throw away.

Where did you see that? I wanna say that that sounds like too long, bit when I think about it seems plausible.
