I was going to say the most likely answer is someone followed one of you home.

So if I were you I would be asking serious questions of the people who know where you live and go from there.
Look, I'd be freaked out too. I don't think that pitching a tent and planting "stuff" in someone else's truck is right at all, which is why I am taking an interest in this and questioning the people I know about it. The question of whether it was from someone from Occupy or not is a lot less important than how they got your address in the first place.
I'm not surprised to learn that your husband at least has an enemy willing to go to some trouble to upset him. However I am surprised that they could get their hands on carefully guarded personal information without having obtained it from someone who had access to it. The question I would be asking at this point is who might that be?

I think one of the easiest ways for someone who doesn't know a person they want to target; would be through someone who works at a place that requires your home address.
Phone companies, cable, vehicle registration, banks, etc.
That opens up a huge field of people far beyond people who know us.

This
There's some pretty strong dislike for Cory from the Occupy Camp and to a smaller extent Jane. But its clear by their last names and some occupy posts and comments that they know that Cory and Jane are married.
If you look at one key piece, and that's motive and opportunity, then following Cory home, or even something as innocuous as someone coming across his tuck after he had it towed away by the bylaw officers, its more then likely that a 5 year old with a learning disability could probably find out where the Morgan's live if they're determined enough.

These are the people that didn't know that the courts had ruled against their movement.
I would be floored if they had the wherewithal to target you through an institution.

Possibly. There are some very intelligent ones among them.
I could see how it would come about....
Person 1 "Damn I wish I knew where they lived?"
Person 2 "I have a buddy who works at X cell company.... they gotta have cells. Bet he could look it up for us."
Exchange cell company for any utility, registry or whatever.
Or maybe someone who works at one of these places looked it up on whim.... and then just has to share their find.

Not very many of the camp people have cars though. Really narrows down your list there.

What little petulant children these losers are. A tent in the back of on of their oppositions vehicles? Way to show you promote vibrant discussion forums or whatever the #### they said.

What a bunch of crazies...I would like to know where they got the money for this statue, it couldn't have been cheap.

That sculpture kind of looks like a steaming pile of poo. A rather fitting monument to OC's legacy, actually.
(heh, glad I'm not the only one to make the connection.)

Or court documents perhaps.
I don't think it would be that difficult to find Cory Morgan's house if you made it your mission to do it.

In this day and age there are kids that could have probably found the information online. It's just a fact of the times we live in now.
I've seen crazy "internet detective" stuff on other forums.

Evidently it was quite the gong show last night, a tent at the Morgan's home, new sculptures in the morning.
For the sculpture, it's not bad, and may be worth perserving permanently in the city somewhere. But I definitely think a cool down period is needed before that can of worms is dealt with. Right now it's too easy to have a knee jerk reaction to the occupiers who held the plaza hostage for 2 months to really judge it on it's merit.
Is this an event worth remember? Does this sculpture stand as a reminder of the downtrodden? Or is it just yet another egotistical stunt from a group that thrives on attention? All questions worth debating, but not questions that need to be answered in the next 24 hours.
Sounds like the sculpture is going to be impounded for 30 days with the clean up, which I think it's great, in 30 days time the city can look at it again and decide what to do with it.
