I think there is still hope for Sanchez.
He just has not pitched much over the last two seasons, i think he is at about 100 innings over two seasons with multiple finger injuries. What remains a mystery, however, is if the blister problem is something that is gone, or if he has had to change his mechanics to avoid getting blisters. The Jays don't have much to lose trotting him out every 5 games and see if he can figure it out.
Stroman has not been great this season but last year he was pretty darn good for the Jays. I am biased as I am a big Stroman fan though.
Also: Morales is HOT HOT HOT!!!!

Its early but Jansen looks like he might be able to hit.
Major bonus if he can.

I tell ya, after slow starts and battling injuries, both Diaz and Grichuk have been really solid players for several months now.

Great job by the bullpen. Jays come back from down 5-0 to win 8-6 for their 5th win in a row.

Wow. Great game! I thought Herrera was going to get to Diaz's shot to CF but it went right over his head and cleared the bases!
Giles seems to enjoy making it interesting, but has locked down the saves when needed.

JDs locker has apparently been cleaned out speculation is that once he's rehabbed he will be immediately traded.

Josh Donaldson asked #BlueJays staff to pack his locker so he has his things. "I want to play soon and wanted to make sure I have everything I need to do that," Donaldson said via team spokesman

Estrada was brutal today. Threw a fastball at 83 MPH at one point, the rest topped out at 87. I wouldn't be surprised to see him put on the DL.

I doubt it. Well, if the Jays agreed to pay most of his salary someone might bite, but I don't think the Jays would want to do that. I think part of the reason he is there at all is to help mentor Gurriel.
Biggest thing with him is when he's not hitting he does absolutely nothing else. No speed or defensive value.

Donaldson to hit waivers?? http://www.rotoworld.com/player/mlb/5409/josh-donaldson
"According to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, the Blue Jays are planning to place Josh Donaldson on revocable trade waivers Thursday.
Donaldson, who hasn't appeared in a major league game since May 28 due to a lingering left calf injury, went 1-for-2 with an RBI and a walk in his rehab debut Tuesday night at High-A Dunedin. 2018 has been a huge letdown of a season for the 32-year-old impending free agent third baseman, but he was one of the best players in all of baseball from 2015-2017 and a number of contending teams will likely try to land him. Rosenthal says the Jays "want Donaldson gone" so that they don't have to make the decision about whether to offer him a qualifying offer in the winter. He's owed around $4 million for the remainder of the year"

agreed and i'm to the point where I think he probably has more value to the team than he does in trade. Between mentoring and having another bat to help protect guys like Vlad Jr I think that's worth it given that even if you could deal him you wouldn't get much.
1 more year at 11 mill isn't horrible value for those things IMO.

josh donaldson came through last night's game fine and is going on trade waivers today so he can be traded on Friday's waiver deadline. #STLCards and #Indians seem like logical spots, but sources suggest there are other teams showing some interest.
