Someone removed the red filter so you can see the suit much better.
People are saying the bat symbol on his chest looks to be made out of a gun (Joe Chills?).

The Battison suit has an Arkham Asylum feel to the suit. I am really interested to see where Matt Reeves takes this story.

I get the impression that the movie itself will have a very AA feel to it. Supposedly a noir fiction detective story, where Batman has to confront a series of villains to get to the bottom of a crime.

I like it. I actually think Pattison is the right actor to do this proper, our first well rounded Batman by tapping into some of Keaton's Bruce Wayne and Bale's Batman. Just not as much Affleck humour in there please.

So the He-Man animated series directed by Kevin Smith on Netflix has assembled quite the voice actor cast.
Quote:
Mark Hamill (Star Wars, Batman: The Animated Series), Kevin Conroy (Batman: The Animated Series, Crisis on Infinite Earths), Lena Headey (Game of Thrones, 300) and Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Cruel Intentions).

Quite a few other notables in there like the Onion Knight from Game of Thrones and even the original Skeletor Voice Actor (as Moss Man apparently?).
I was obviously a huge fan of this show in the 80's as any boy born in that era was. Watching the how it was made on Netflix was pretty cool as well.
I will definitely give the new series a go.

Better Trilogy: Star Trek (2009-2016) or the Star Wars Sequels?

Saw Harley Quinn this weekend. I mostly went to try out this new "Screen X" gimmick that Cineplex has, where they project the movie onto the two surrounding walls too. I didn't like it. It lit up the theater too much and didn't add much. Every time the theatre got lit up by the effect audience members also felt it was their cue to start talking to eachother.
As for the movie itself, it was a wasted opportunity IMO. Not sure why they kept the R rating. Nothing in the movie needed to be R Rated. In doing so, they lost their key demographic, teenage girls. For example, there's a scene where Harley shoots some police officers....but she uses bean bags. Because apparently Harley is bad...but not that bad. Overall, the movie was just okay. It's not difficult to watch like the Suicide Squad.
I really wish, if they were going R-rated, they would have gone for some over the top total trip of a movie. A zanier version of Deadpool with more gore, as its from the perspective of a supposed actual villain. They played it way too safe though. Instead, it just felt like they were trying to shelter Margo Robbie's image too much, and Harley never really did anything that bad.

Star Wars movie one and Star Trek movie one were both safe retreads.
Star Wars movie two and Star Trek movie two were both horrendous.
Star Trek movie three was at least entertaining...
So Star Trek?

I wouldn't say the first Star Trek was a safe retread, they made a completely new timeline and screwed with major character backgrounds. If anything the 2nd one was the retread, though very poorly executed
I've watched the first Trek reboot several times, and Beyond a couple of times, while I will never touch the new Star Wars trilogy again. So Trek wins in my book

Trek wins on account of only having one disastrous misstep rather than two, but also the three Trek movies aren't a trilogy, so kind of apple orangey.

I'd definitely go with Star Trek, and I don't think it's close - at all. I was a much bigger Star Wars fan before these trilogies - but now? Star Trek > Star Wars.

The 1st and 3rd movies of the star trek trilogy are both really good
Pine is an excellent kirk
Even the 2nd is only really hated because JJ kept lying about who Cumberbatch was playing when it was obvious, it's not as good as the other two, but it's not bad

No, the second one is bad, and full on absolute nonsense, and really poorly crafted fan service. It is not a good movie.
