It wouldn't be Hagen's IMO but Bruins do have the Panthers first next year too.
Leafs 2026 1st
Panthers 2027 1st
Poitras
Lohrei
For
Coleman (50% Retention)
Andersson (50% Retention)
That would be fun.

Ras (no extension) + Gridin for Hagens and Leaf's 1st?
That's our #1C sorted.

there is no rush to make a bad or mid trade...if the deal isn't very good it doesn't need to be made on January 17th

Just saying you don't make a bad or mid deal on January 17th. If something happens in the next day or two it wont be 2 seconds from Vegas or something stupid that they could get at any time as a fall back

I do not think that Gridin's absence was trade-related.

Yeah I really don’t want Gridin to be lost in this, we can gain assets without losing him

What's been shown to suggest this has been rushed at all at any point in the last year or so? Conroy has a plan, a price in mind, and it seems things have sped up the past few days due to other teams coming in with lots of serious offers, to which Conroy is now putting pressure on teams that this may get done shortly with the team of his choice.
No reason to be afraid that Conroy is rushing a decision at this point, at all. If anything the speed of the trade is now hinged on what teams Andersson will sign with or so they need to pivot to a rental deal, in which all interested teams already have offers put forth.

highly unlikely but if he was involved you would have to think a really high end asset would be coming the other way

I would give a tonne for Hagen's, but he's a local boy in Boston, and it would be a really tough sell if they were to move him.
William Moore, Fabian Lysell and Toronto's 1st (+salary dump) is what would get it done. But even then it feels like thats quantity over quality, and other teams could beat it by offering one great player instead of three parts.

If Gridin is going in a deal it's for James Hagens and more.

I never said he is rushing or that I was afraid...that is kinda my point he won't rush even though fans are getting impatient. I'm saying its not going to happen in the near future if its only a mid return. IMO Conroy is not going to move him now unless he REALLY likes the deal.

He is from NY but did choose Boston University. Seems unlikely we get him still I agree. We shall see

If you're trading Gridin (an A prospect) it's for an A+ prospect in return.
But assuming this is ultimately the Andersson deal, I don't know what on earth would be coming back for both guys, because that would be a lot of value moving out.
Probably Hagens++, in which case these tweeters popping off about something big would be accurate.
