I don't know if we are ever going to have a new Big 3 as Sinner and Alcaraz seem to be far ahead of the pack, but Jakub Mensik could be the guy to join those two.

Another umpire controversy today - It's a bad miss by Arnaud Gabas, but again I feel it's a situation where Shelton can award the point to his opponent as he had to know he hit the ball long and that it bounced before it hit Etcheverry in the leg.

RBA just dispatched #2 seed Casper Ruud in Basel who is in desperate need of a break from tennis (more mental than physical in my opinion). Shapo will face RBA as a result on Thursday.

As EE said the other day, tennis is hard and the difference between winning and losing is often just a few points. Tommy Paul wins Stockholm last week and then loses to Brandon Nakashima in Vienna in straight sets today.

Fatigue at well, you can only play 5 times a week for so long plus travel between tournaments. RBA must be tired as well when he plays Shapo tomorrow

Nakashima now leads the H2H over Paul 4-0 - Some guys just have your number for some reason as well.

Djoker is going to very likely qualify for Turin but I bet he shuts it down for the year

Wow that's pretty surprising. Sometimes it's right place, right time and other times it's just a mismatch of skills/styles that gives an accomplished player fits.

Shapo about to take on RBA in Basel - If he can win this match and Felix is able to win his match later today, we would see a clash between Denis and Felix on Friday.

Hopefully they can both take care of business but RBA is pretty hot right now.

I think RBA is showing signs of fatigue as he's played a lot of tennis over the last couple of weeks. That combined with Shapo playing some pretty good tennis today has Denis up a set and a break currently.
