Because these calls seem to make no sense with the 'ball under control' aspect of it I can see this going either way. The ball is certainly moving around when he steps out of bounds.

thanks, wind must be pretty strong to not attempt from 50 yds, most NFL kickers can hit from well beyond that.

Looks like the Ravens might pull out a win now.

Should have punted since the Ravens offense have been doing nothing today. A tie would have been a win for the Bengals today, especially considering their position in the division.

Something to ponder. With the new nfl overtime rules if there is a strong wind and I win the toss..im taking the wind.

what good is it to start at the 20 against the wind and need a TD to win? Let the other guy go first.

am I nuts?

Man, the officiating in the Eagles/Packers game was just brutal, and by that I mean the Eagles had a bunch of blown calls go in their favour. Really pleased with how Foles continues to develops but he is still holding on to the ball far too long

Manning up to 32 TDs with a half of football to go in game 9.

Did the 49ers make a mistake with Alex Smith and Colin Kaepernick? Maybe, maybe not, but Kaepernick has not looked very good for many weeks now. Smith gets accused of being a game manager but he's 300 yards ahead of Kaepernick at the moment.

Carolina looking full value for the win . Under 100 yards passing for SF, 46 yards including sacks against. Glad Seattle gutted out the week one win vs them.

Carolinas defence is becoming one of the best in the NFL. I think they have an excellent shot at the playoffs thanks to the Rogers injury.

Also I am not surprised to see the Colts lose. This was the type of trap game they have have fallen victim to twice this year.

Peyton gets an MRI tomorrow. Very sore. Chargers got him low twice today and the first time he got a pretty good twist.

The Carolina defense may be great but it has to be as that offense is pathetic.

SF is a weird team should have won easy today and dominated the Panthers early on but settled for FG's instead of TD's and got burned for it. The 3 FG when it was 4th and 1 was a real head scratcher. With the OL/run game they have and defense to stop Carolina they should go for that every single time.

I have no faith in Hartley anymore. Guy needs to be more consistant.

80 offensive plays, 40 1st downs.
625 total yards.

Craziest stat of the night - Mark Ingram - 14 carries 145 yards 1 TD - 10.4 YPC

It was nice to see Ingram have a nice game. Especially after that silly delay of game penalty he got.

Strangely enough he really only sucks in that dome this year. He'll miss the routine 35 yarder in the dome, but hit a 45 yarder in a crazy cross wind with sleet in his face. Maybe it's a good thing that they lost to the Jets, you don't want Hartley trying to kick a game winner at home. Odd because in 2010 playoffs he made a couple of clutch kicks to beat the Vikings.

Was at the Cardinals - Texas game. I had a tonne of fun! Decent game to watch as well.

JJ Watt is a great person. There was a little kid yelling and cheering him on all through warm up and Watt went over and gave him a ball before he went off the field.
