Did they mention that they closed the place down and hand-picked the “customers” for him? Did they mention that he refused to answer whether he would increases minimum wages for those employees? Any comment about him pointing out “fake news” while he does a fake job?
Yeah, I've read similar comments about the McDonald's being shutdown and those people not being actual, real customers. What I don't understand is why this seems to be such a big gotcha for some? Obviously, they'd close it down and have only friendlies come to within 2' of him at the drive-thru window. This shouldn't have been a surprise to anyone, although it does seem to be for some. I don't get it. Former President who is running to be the next President, who has had 2 apparent attempts at his life in the last what, 3 months? Secret Service is going to be all over that detail. I don't think anyone was thinking Trump was really working at McDonald's, right? Of course it's a fake job...
WASHINGTON, D.C. — The presidential race was hit with an "October Surprise" today, as media reports circulated that an investigation revealed that former President Donald Trump's iconic role in the classic film#Home Alone 2: Lost in New York#was staged.
The allegations already sent shockwaves across the political landscape, with Democratic leaders saying the scandal was yet another indication that Trump is unfit for office for shamelessly staging what is now believed to be an entirely fabricated interaction with a lost young boy in a hotel lobby.
"You think he really provided Kevin directions to the hotel lobby? Think again!" said Harris-Walz campaign spokesperson Blaine Daniels. "It was totally fake! I have it on good authority that the entire thing was staged. In fact, the people in the hotel that day were paid actors! Can you believe it? And get this — from what I've heard, even the things spoken by Trump and the kid were written beforehand and given to them to say. What a disgusting and deceptive charade."

Personally I get that they need to control events like this, but reporters still need to point these facts out instead of just slobbing on his mini-Palmer. Trump is not a man of the people and is objectively anti-worker.

If America votes in Trump again, they will deserve exactly what's coming to them.
The very definition of '#### around and find out'
Yea, but does Canada and the rest of the world deserve what's coming to us? America is f***ing all of us here if they vote him back in, especially Canadians. It remains to be seen how we're gonna deal with this as their primary neighbour and trading partner, but it ain't gonna be good.

100% agreed. We're ####ed by association, and there's nothing we can really do in that scenario. My main worry is that the support for Ukraine will end under another Trump term.

Is this election not over yet? My god this is interminable.
The crazy part is this was, relatively speaking, a short cycle. Dems didn't have a primary, GOP primary was one way traffic with little media interest. Assuming there are elections in the future they'll be even longer than this was.

And if he pulls out of NATO and then Putin invades Poland we’re automatically at war. So many nightmare situations are possible if he wins.

It’s the Ukrainians that stand to lose the most. And after that, who’ll be next?
