It's amazing how much you miss not watching the game on TV... I was looking for McClain and never could find him... hahaha. Makes sense now.
Considering the number of injuries and how depleted the Raiders were at critical positions, this win is even sweeter... and the bye week couldn't come any sooner...

They never really mentioned how he got hurt but he just never played in the 2nd half and Tyvon Branch also left in the 3rd quarter so I believe Huff had to move from safety to CB for the rest of the game.

ya getting Murphy, Miller and Schilens back is going to help a lot, basically their 3 best pass catchers
Hopefully Rolando is ok, and same with Branch who missed a bit of time after he went off

Pretty good choice. The guy walks onto USC (an amazing feat in itself), doesn't start until his senior year and then is 1/2 way to NFL defensive player of the year a couple years after being drafted. Awesome.

Okay. It's tough to follow players without cameras, analysis and replays. Hopefully a bye week is what the doctor ordered and the Raiders can come back in week 11 fully loaded.
I don't want you to necessarily change anything because it seems to be working, but perhaps you can take the bag off your head now?

They are undefeated since I've used this avatar so it's staying for another couple of weeks at least.

I would like to restate how thrilled I am that Josh McDaniels traded that no talent hick Peyton Hillis for our third string QB. What a great move.

That was definitely a penalty and likely a fine.

Ugly hit, think Williams was knocked out there for a few.

Clay Matthews with the touchdown. Is Wade fired tomorrow? Who replaces him?

Isn't that Matthews first TD?
edit- sounds like its his first pick 6, but he returned a fumble for a TD last year.

I think you go with Garrett and see if he can do it, if for no other reason than the possible lockout and having to pay another coach.
Also, if you're cowher or gruden are you really going to step in mid-season when it's lost and the team has clearly quit.

Bah! Revisionist history. Screw that guy. They thought Knoshon was their every down back. Yes, I am the Iraqi Minister of Information when it comes to the Broncos.

All good for Packers fans other than Pickett going down again and Collins being an idiot.
2 weeks to get healed up as much as possible, and a tough schedule for the Bears coming up. I feel a lot better about their chances to win the division now than I did a couple weeks ago.
I feel bad for Philips even if some of this is his fault because his players flat out have just quit. No interest in any way, shape, or form of competing either physically or emotionally. I suspect he is gone tomorrow and Garrett is given his short shot at showing what he can do...but this is his offense and they cannot do anything in any aspect..particularly in the run game.

That one replay showing Jenkins very clearly not putting any effort into preventing the GB player from getting into the endzone was hard to watch. Dallas is so brutal.

Tough ending for one of the great CB's in the last decade.
Quote:
the Green Bay Packers will not add cornerback Al Harris to their 53-man roster on Monday, the deadline for doing so. Instead, they will release Harris after apparently determining that he hasn't made it back from a devastating knee injury suffered last Nov. 22 at Lambeau Field
Harris tore the anterior cruciate ligament, the lateral collateral ligament, the IT band, the fibular collateral ligament and the lateral hamstring in his left knee and leg

And now Vikings fans want to pick him up.
Boy do they love former Packers.
