We took down Yamamoto in WWII and we’ll do it again.

MLB does not break with tradition, the World Series has been 7 games (2-3-2 format) over 9 days for 100 years.

Don't take this as me saying the Blue Jays are going the cruise into a WS win. Far from it, I still think this series goes to 7 with the Jays winning it all in Canada in the SkyDome.
My thoughts exactly. If Snell gets chased early, you know the game is over.

Yesavage is the pivotal player IMO. I watched the post-game presser with the Dodgers Manager and he mentioned that they'd seen Yesavage once this series and all I was thinking was "No you didn't... you saw Yesavage without his splitter working... and that's not the same guy" if Yesavage has his splitter working I feel like the Dodgers get flummoxed and the Jays can go home just needing 1.

I love where her head's at.

I could see that going 2 ways though, as both my BIL, and a co-worker today said they're planning on PVRing it, avoiding any news about it while chaperoning their trick or treaters, then watching the whole thing afterwards. I don't like their odds on pulling it off, ha-ha.

It's never "over". The bullpen has been shown to be a weakness but they've also shown their "worst" relievers can throw 100+ MPH. The Jays have to play their best games for the rest of the season. Pitchers have to do well combined with batting doing it's thing. I honestly feel like a Yammamoto game will favour LA heavily. They really have to push harder than ever today to keep LA on their back foot.

I am loving this run. It's an exhausting experience even as a fan though, too. I will miss it but also embrace the additional time back in my life as it is consuming me entirely. Doing it with young kids, navigating bedtimes etc., it's been a chore on MST.
Oh yeah, it's been a total disaster with a family.

My wife was out of the house last night and I got my 2 yr. old down in 3 parts during commercial breaks. My 5 yr. old was a battle I didn't want to deal with so I just let her stay up. Around the middle of the 8th she said "Dad, can I go to bed?" I said of course and she just got up, went pee, brushed her teeth and put herself to bed. It was great.

I can relate 100%. I'm not getting any dad of the year awards during this run.

Sounds like Springer has taken BP and has done some running. they want him to hit off some high velo in the cage before making a decision

Interesting dynamic here. If Springer is out, you probably DH Bichette as his knee didn’t look great. If Springer can bat, do you put him in the outfield or in the DH spot?

Schneider mentioned today that if Springer is in the starting lineup, he'll be DH and Bo will be 2B.

Clement must really like playing down the lineup, not sure why he'd never be tried at lead-off otherwise

Snell starting (lefty).

Not that I necessarily agree with it

I'm pretty sure he spent some time in the leadoff slot this year. I can't find any solid data on this but I'm pretty sure they stuck him there for at least a game or 2 when he was hot towards the end of summer.
