He didn't play a one dimensional game plan today. Threw down the field alot more than I expected them to. Had a couple of bad drops that didn't help things either.
I'm glad you're smarter than 5 NFL defensive coordinators though. Maybe you should start applying for some jobs?
Just read Dummy Suh is expected to get two games for his stomp, way too freaking light in my opinion he should be given the rest of the season off for that bull crap which would only be 5 games since Detroit ain't making the playoffs.

Considering Haynesworth got 5 games for stomping a man's exposed head, I figured that 5 games wouldnt be where this susoension reaches. I had 2-3 games pegged. Enough to help them lose this upcoming week to the Saints
Chiefs played hard, they had a short week, and Pittsburgh was coming off a bye. Kyle Orton will likely be at QB next week.
What happens if Orton looks really good (well as good as Orton can look wich can be decent at times)? I believe Orton was brought in for an audition to see if he can move the ball better than Cassel. Apparently since Cassel got a lot of his money up front it wouldn't be that painless to cut him in the offseason.

Suh should get 3 considering the list of growing incidents he is getting involved with.
As football fans we realize DT are suppose to nasty but some of his garbage like wrenching on QB's facemask like he is taking down a steer the NFL has to put a stop to that with Suh.
Kudos if you're a Broncos fan on here (Dis), because there isn't really a more exciting time to be a fan than right now.
I find myself enthralled by Broncos games because you just don't know what Tebow is going to give you. You almost get the feeling that even if the chargers scored 20, Tebow would have come back and tied it.

Hard to say. For one thing, Orton won't be that familiar with this offence, and these players given how late in the season it is. But he has a lot more experience playing the position than Matt Cassel does. Offence hasn't scored a TD in forever, and 0 TD's in two seasons without Cassel under center. So if Orton can get this offence into the red zone...thats a big upgrade for this sad sack offence.
I think the Chiefs are a team who have playmakers for a QB to work with, especially with Moeaki, and Charles on the field. They definitely need a better backup QB, and Orton could be an upgrade at the starter position, making Cassle a pretty good backup. I guess I'll find out. I wish the Chiefs had about 25 picks in the first two rounds to fix all their needs.

I'm not sure why bring in Orton anyway with his salary even just for the rest of the year. Already in 3rd in the division with the hardest remaining schedule (Bears, Jets, Packers, Raiders and Broncos). They've lost key playmakers on both sides of the ball. No one can blame them now for losing. Just lose out and get one of the top three QB's in the draft to replace Cassel in the future since he's probably not the QB they were hoping for when New England fleeced them on that deal like to do in every other trade they make.
Just reading Peter King's MMQB on SI, thought it was interesting how Goodell mentioned he's thinking of pushing back the trade deadline, which could potentially go as late as Week 12.
Personally I like the idea, I never got why its so ridiculously early currently. And a team like the Texans would have a lot more options right now.

Could be worse. At least you have picks. Upcoming 2012 NFL Draft is going to be very boring for Raiders fans.

The NFL's original stance was that they didn't want what happens in the NHL to take place where a group of underperforming teams turn into sellers at the deadline leaving depleated rosters to make for less competitive games down the stretch.

LOL its so very true. I find out where my Cowboys are on the TV sked and then look for the Broncos. Because their games are just a riot. I mean it's right down to the end every time and no matter what the other team does Tebow and the Broncs outdo them.
Frankly I think 2nd is pretty much already out of reach, the Niners hold all tiebreakers on the Saints so are essentially still 2 games up, and have 4 of their final 5 against NFC West opponents.
I think the Saints are destined to be the #3 seed, & most likely heading to S.F. for the 2nd round. I think they'd have a decent chance in that one, it would be very interesting to see Brees against that D. Everything runs through Lambeau this year anyway, whether they finish 2nd or 3rd.
No question though they are a different team at home, would've been a lot nicer to see the Packers or Niners traveling to the Superdome in Janurary.

As a 9er fan I really want no part of Drew Brees in his comfort of the home dome although I know the 9er D will come to play more then whatever it was the Giants were doing last night.
Interesting day all around in Jacksonville today. Fired coach, extended GM and sold the team.
