I like Johnny Weir. I really do, and after the flack he took from some of the commentators in Australia (who repeatedly made comments about his sexuality) I would like to see him do well.
And I like the Russian, he's phenomenally strong on his skates, big jumps, he's fun to watch.

Really? I think he's really good at engaging the crowd. I enjoy watching him. We agree on the jumps though.
This is gonna be tough.
Also - agreed with the crowd booing Johnny Weirs scores. I thought he deserved better.

Wow, Plushenko doesn't do it. The Gold goes to the American with the really nice teeth. He was great though.

He has great hair too. I wish I had that mop!
Well deserved gold even though I hate seeing Americans winning gold.

I was watching survivor.
Who won the mens figure skating and where did Chan end up?
Also, are people having problems with how slow tsn.ca is loading up?

I was rooting for Plushchenko, but definitely the right guy won. You wonder how high Chan could have gotten if he stuck that one jump.

US starting to pull away in the medal count. They're really stepping up in this Olympics.

Haha, Russia is going to have a field day with no Russians winning the gold in Figure Skating, yet.

Celeb night at the Men's Skeleton.
Michael Douglas and John Daly going down the track.
Canadian Jon Montgomery currently in second after 2 slides, with some riders still to go, but they look to be further back after 1. 2 more tomorrow I think. Looking good.

We're looking pretty good in Skeleton for tomorrow. We're currently 2nd in Mens and I sitting 3rd for Womens. GO CANADA!!
Mens Super G is on tomorrow as well. Not sure if we have a chance, as we choked pretty badly in the Alpine Downhill. Hopefully we pull through though and have some good runs.
Womens Skeleton Rd. 4 will go at 4:55 on CTV.
Mens Skeleton Rd. 4 will go at 7:50 on CTV.
The Super G is earlier in the day.

Man, does Canada Alpine suck. Every Olympics we hear how much improved we are and then we usually fail to medal in any of the downhill events. Are we habitual chokers, or does our team just really like to overrate themselves.
