I don't know, I'm cheering for Jon Arbuckle, he always seemed like a good guy here and its a nice story.

Now do I think he can beat Winnipeg? Nope.

He’s not coming to the CFL anytime soon.

Can’t risk using the number 1 pick on him. Maybe our 3rd.

Trevor Harris can get your team to the playoffs, but he can never win the big game. If he does becomes a free agent, I hope DD and company take a pass (no pun intended).

Veteran quarterback Trevor Harris is keeping the Saskatchewan Roughriders long-term well-being in mind while he contemplates his football future.

“Does this organization have a chance if I’m here? If the answer is no, I don’t want to be here because I care about this organization way too darn much,” Harris said. “They deserve the top tier of everything and if I’m not that, I should walk away and I will.”

The Riders ended the 2024 season with a 38-22 loss in the West Final against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Harris completed 25-of-44 passes for 283 yards with one touchdown while adding one carry for 15 yards.

The 38-year-old pivot is scheduled to become a free agent in February and was emotional as the player cleaned out lockers and went their separate ways for the offseason, uncertain if he’ll return for a 14th CFL season.

Harris seems like an really decent guy but agreed, the Stamps have to move in a different direction. signing a 38 y/o to a team with as many holes makes no sense. looking forward to the offseason, the stamps need to be agressive and i think they will. they are going to want to have a team that could potentially play in the cup in 2026

Yeah, I wouldn't be interested in Harris, He does seem like a pretty good guy, and he's popular with his team.

But he's old, and as much as I'm the first one to say, when your team allows 30+ points against, your QB isn't going to save you. But Harris was under seige all game, the game plan wasn't good, but he never looked comfortable.

I think for the Stamps, the QB's in free agency aren't all that interesting, we need to get back to running QB heavy camps and coordinating with NFL teams during their QB camps to start building QB's again.

Harris is a hard no.

If we can get Adams and Mcinnis and fix the lines on both sides of the ball we could turn this around quickly like Higgins and Barker did in 05 when we got Burris and Copeland.

One thing that frustrates me with the Stamps, and has for a few years...

If you are a fan of every other team in the league, you can go to their website and buy 2025 season tickets, even the teams still playing.

The Stamps, no mention of 2025 on their ticketing page.

DD must see something in this guy that translates to the CFL well because he was god awful during his time in the NFL.

Hope he is a stud here though!

What was the reason he never played a game? Seems a bit weird to have him here and not play and see what he has only to turn around and sign him.

As noted above he stunk it up in the NFL but his college stats are troubling as well. Lots of turnovers.

I guess we will see what we have but I hope this is plan B to develop him and they go out and get an Adams.

If he signed to play he wouldn't have had a shot back in the NFL this year.. As if he stood a chance lol.
I just hope they don't close the door on bringing in someone with CFL experience to at least push him.

He probably had a chance to catch on with one of the New York teams.

As was speculated.....ouch.

In a statement released by Kelly Sunday night, the quarterback confirmed that he sustained fractures to both his tibia and fibula and had surgery. He is expected to make a full recovery within the next three to six months, but a more defined timeline will be updated after 12 weeks.
