I'd want lucic for $1-2m in Calgary if he got bought out. Lucic-Bennett-Frolik could be a really good line. And he's good at hitting and punching faces

Lucic cannot play hockey at an NHL level anymore.
Literally all he can now is punch faces and hit people when they're not moving their feet. He cannot shoot, pass, stickhandle and of course skate at anything remotely close to an NHL level at this point.
He'd basically be a Peluso replacement. He's done.

it just looks that way because he plays with bad line-mates because the oilers have little to no depth. He looks light a third or fourth liner to me.

No, it's mostly Lucic dragging them down. He could barely ever even get anything good accomplished even when he played with McDipsydoodle.

Beaten by the worst team in the league (Panthers), and handily so as well. That's gotta do some damage to the team morale going forward.

That Lucic contract is a gift that keeps on giving. Another putrid performance from the neanderthal.

Draisatl was of course the second star.
It is refreshing to see him centering his own line, incognito of course, on the wing.
He’s such a force, of course they had to put McDavid on his wing, incognito, as a centerman of course, so old Connor could get rolling too.
Those Oilers & their mischievous ways.
They’re so smart.
They really know a thing or two about winning... lotteries.

I find it hilarious that so many Oilers fans think the biggest problem with their crappy team is coaching.
