Wait, I thought the CFL refs were incompetent and the NFL was more professional?

Maybe all refs, in every sport, are just human. We dont expect the players to be perfect, because they certainly arent, why do we expect more of the refs?

I find the crying about the refs tends to correlate directly to if the team one supports wins. Standard across all sports really.

NFL officials are far more competent but they make mistakes. The Raiders have been the most penalized team in the NFL for decades despite numerous head coaches and multiple different rosters. Does every single Raiders head coach do a poor job of preaching discipline? Do players that were disciplined on other teams or in college automatically become undisciplined when they put on a silver and black jersey? Or is there a little bit of a bias when officials see players in those colors commit very borderline infractions? Officials are human after all.

All officials in all sports tend to suck

It seems like an impossible sport to officiate. How can you watch 5+ big men push against 5+ other big men and catch every hold, trip, hands to face?

Thursday's game was almost the Superbowl 2 years ago. Would have been an epic game, too bad Mahomes ruined it all

No Lewan or Saffold on the Titans O-Line so what's the over/under on Bosa sacks? 3?

With the incompetence of the refs in the NFL, they really need to expand challenges to include roughing the passer and pass interference like the CFL.

They did this a couple of seasons ago and everyone hated it.

Taysom and Semien have COVID so it's Ian Book time for the Saints.

NFL officials really never gave it a chance. They basically refused to overturn calls even if PI was irrefutable on replay.

Oh yeah. They were too vain to overturn calls even though they were incorrect.

I guess you can't fix stupid.

No. That's a terrible idea. Rather take the odd bad call than the soul crushing review

Excited to see Ian Book all year. But they haven't even dressed him once all season so I imagine he's had next to no first team reps, and he'll be suiting up for the first time with both their 2 Pro Bowl OTs out against a good D that's rolling. I just hope they don't ruin his confidence

Today on you sir are an A-Hole....Dalvin Cook is out against the Vikings. Unvaccinated he is the only Viking on the list. My fantasy team thanks you for doing this...don't think it hurts the Vikings too badly as Mattison and Nwangu are viable backs. But tough matchup with the Rams as Ramsey will be molesting Jefferson, and I'm not sure if Thelen will go. I think the Eagles like this news and the Taysom Hill news.

You wore a Mariota jersey and this offense is playing like he's still the QB. I blame you good sir for this putrid offense

What a horrific half of football for the Titans offense. On pace for 110 yards total offense. They are lucky they are only down by 10 points.
