^Question for you - on "Hot Brass" Was that done by using the manual focus? Or by changing the aperture size?

I was also zoomed in @ 45mm (17-55mm f/2.8 lens), the low light in the Antique store didn't help as the AF had to hunt a little bit.
The subject was only 40 cm away too.

Here's one of my best to date. I've been hanging on to this one for quite a while... for the past 3 minutes or so.
I know you enjoy skylines, so you'll appreciate the beauty of Red Deer's urban landmarks.

F-150 is the offcial truck of Central Alberta.
My boys counts the trucks everytime will pull up to the arena in Sylvan...."truck, truck, truck, truck, truck, truck, car, truck, truck, truck, truck"
The only small redeeming feature is many are used for actual work, not just driven from suburbia to underground parkades.

When I worked on my uncle's farm near Penhold in the mid-1970's as slave labour, he had a Ford F-150 I think.

A few from Arizona in the last few weeks . . . . .
Cycling out in the Cave Creek area in north Phoenix . . .
Crawling up Camelback in Scottsdale . . . . about 45 or 50 minutes to the top.
There's several thousand feet of nothing below their feet at the Grand Canyon. A few days later, a base jumper died when wind currents pushed him back into the canyon wall.
A five mile walk at sunrise in Sedona . . . .
Walking down Piestawa in the Phoenix Mountains . . . . a popular walk. About 35 minutes to the top.
Loved the morning walk below . . . . . about an hour across the desert to get to the base of this mountain in the McDowell Mountain park, then about 45 minutes up to this spot. It's about 10 minutes further walk to the summit where there's a large building and radio towers, overlooking Scottsdale from the northeast. However, the sign warns further progress will fry your brains out from radio waves. Fountain Hills is off to the right, at the edge of the picture.
Back home, Ruby plows through the snow . . .
Hoar Frost Morning . . .
