Haha, you think that embarrasses me? It doesn't. I think you clearly missed the point of my last post.
Your team broke the system and rules of play. You don't like the state of politics now? Your team made it that way, own it.
It's going to get a lot uglier before it gets better. I hope you have the stomach for it.

The rulebook is out the window. The time for decorum and traditional values is over. The post truth era is in full swing. Tell me, what value is there in adhering to antiquated values any longer?
Nah, #### all that. Fight fire with fire I say. Maybe the right will change their tactics when they start to be used against them. I just wish there were more on the left with the sack to actually do it.

Democrats have been in power 12 out of the last 16 years. I know people are butthurt that they lost an election to an idiot criminal cult leader, but the problem isn’t a “tilted board” - the candidate sucked and the campaign sucked worse, at a bad time. So you can keep complaining about things not being fair, or you can actually look at why the election was actually lost and take steps to fix it, rather than the dumb “fight fire with fire” attitude.

Until then, you’re just playing team sports like every other jack### out there.

I’m not cheering for it. But it’s the inevitable outcome of the action of the GOP of the last 20 years so, yeah the whining is rich.

And it would have been longer because the Democrats are the only party serious about governing the country and taking steps to improve it. I'm still waiting on Trump's plans for healthcare. I heard he has ideas of a plan...
It's only dumb if it doesn't work. I suspect that it actually will work because I'm a student of history. Unfortunately, righteousness rarely wins the day.

There was zero chance Biden wasn't going to pardon his son after the election, no matter what the outcome was (him winning, Harris winning, or Trump winning). Did anyone really think a President was going to let his own kid go to Federal prison? Particularly for things like lying on a gun application and tax stuff?

What's most sad about people still sold on this swindler's rhetoric and singing his praises is that their belief in him is mainly predicated on misplaced faith that he has some secret sauce or a magic wand only he can wave to make his lofty promises a reality that none of the critical thinking experts with credentials will see coming.
I'm afraid your guy has nothing behind the curtain, just brazen over confidence and pathological tendency to fabricate truths until he doesn't know up from down.
Think about how many phony salesman tactics you'd employ to avoid living out your days in a jail cell. You'd throw the kitchen sink to achieve that end. That's what Trump did. He doesn't have a master plan. It was self-preservation first, figure it out later. But he doesn't have the chops nor anything that resembles expertise around him to figure it out.
Putin was not disappointed in the election result for a reason.

Dude, you're not swaying anyone with tweets. Time to make a cogent argument of your own or stop posting in this thread.

I think that the Parson in this case is reasonable given the statements of the future attorney general. It’s optically terrible though.
But now that he is pardoned he still could be compelled to testify and would be subject to perjury charges if he didn’t tell the truth and could no longer plead the fifth. So if one were to believe that this is a deep state conspiracy where Hunter Biden participated in a CIA coup then pardoning him actually allows you to get the truth out faster.

No, it really is across the board.
3 per cent of British Columbians go to church weekly. Across the border 30 per cent of Washingtonians go to church weekly.

America's debt is a massive problem. Way more concerning than any other talking point like climate change, transgender bathrooms, abortion, etc. When you're heading towards bankruptcy none of those things are going to matter. The military budget of the USA is ridiculous and unnecessary. Cutting spending everywhere throughout the government should be a top priority.

And the man who spent the most money ever on defence and military during his first presidency will be the one to curb it in his second? My guess is we see the first trillion dollar military budget under Trump

Yes, I agree. Thank you for articulating your own point.
I'm just sort of done with people talking with tweets. Say what you mean to say in your own words. Stop relying on everyone else to do the talking.
The military industrial complex has been a major issue for America since Eisenhower warned us about it. The cold war made it impossible to address it. Then 9/11 and terrorism made it more impossible to address it.
Now? What's the issue?
Yes, it's obscene, and there's a lot of fat to trim. But, lobbyists have a ton of power in Washington, so expect there to be ZERO changes to the spending and literal "government jobs program" type of spending that will happen.
