I don't see that. I think you maybe seeing a vibe of people who thought they were successful in the cause and feeling a "high".
The people in the video to me seemed to really believe in their causes, misguided as it is. They think they are fighting corruption and the very soul of their nation is at risk.
Terrifying video to be sure. Amazing that more lives weren't lost I think.
So I guess most Republicans just shrug their shoulders and ignore this? Time to heal or thoughts and prayers BS?

Watching that video, I still can't believe there wasn't live fire used (other than one shot from a handgun). It hits me every time I see clips from January 6th: lots of people should have been shot.

After watching that, not just seeing clips in fractions, but the whole thing play out in a continuous fashion, I think it’s completely fair to paint with the widest of brushes.
If after watching that, you support Trump, the GOP, or anyone still associated with him, you are either one of three things. Extremely stupid to the point we shouldn’t have full adult privilege due to your mental deficiency. You are brainwashed to the point you need institutionalization for treatment. Or you are a straight up bad and evil human being.
My guess is, you are a bit if all three. And the scariest part, is damn near half of Americans, support Trump, which is outright terrifying.

If the insurrectionists had a darker skin tone, you can bet your *** things would have went down very, very differently...
Well I realize we now need a term for whatever an upside down Kangaroo court is, where people with the specific power and authority to levee punishment hold a sham trial with no intention of exercising their responsibilities in the face of all evidence, so Trump will 100% escape accountability.
But I sincerely hope that a the very least some of those people taking pictures of official government documents are charged with espionage, and get to enjoy some government housing for the next 20 years, that is just crazy flipping through a senators papers with a rolling video camera, saying there has to be something here we can use against this guy.
I also know they haven't indicated they will do it, but I have no understanding of how they can run this trial without subpoenaing Trump. It seems completely irrational to me that you wouldn't let him perjure himself here, because he is incapable of honesty or even taking the 5th.
